Happy to recommend this product, much cheaper than a new printer!
My XP-322/325 Home Expression was done for... for about 8 months it would print b/w pages but trying colour left a heavily banded print. Epson assistance could only suggest multiple nozzle and head cleans - which failed to solve he problem- or buy a new printer... so I thought what have I got to lose? Following the simple instructions, I set the printer up to 'change cartridges'... and turned it off - whereupon it returned the cartridge cradle to the 'hidden' rest position... Hmmm... I repeated the procedure but this time turned the printer off at the plug. Removing all the cartridges I could clearly see the pins, and the yellow pin had a collar of dried 'pink' ink around it. I touched a little of the cleaning fluid on it and carefully scraped it clear with a toothpick. I then used the syringe and tube to introduce some fluid into the yellow pin - it seemed slightly resistant but I did my best... "you may spill a few drops...! Oh yes... quite a few! I used two squares of loo roll to mop up, probably getting some fluid into the other pins too. Then I re-positioned the ink cartridges, powered up, turned the printer off normally and waited - 24 hours in this case... Nozzle check: looked good... Test print: Perfect! I think my problem was leaving the printer too long between colour print runs: So I'm now using non-Epson inks - which the printer sulks about - but which are cheap enough to allow me to run off a couple of A4 colour tests every week to keep the print heads in tip-top order. I am very happy with the results, and have saved about ยฃ70 on a new printer. My only regret is ditching my excellent XP-425 a couple of years ago - which had the same problem! Happy to recommend this product, much cheaper than a new printer! CK

works but is a bit messy
The product works but is a bit tricky to make it work and the foam pad built into the printer gets very wet and messy. But .. it worked for me and correctly un-blocked a clogged jet nozzle on my Epsom inkjet printer.

Worked perfect on a Epson ET 4550
Used the tube and syringe with a little kitchen towel under the print heads, left the cleaner in for 14 hours, after turning the printer back on done head clean and test print got nothing for the first 3 cleans on the paper just blank done another head clean and print started getting ink through the heads then after another 3 head cleans was getting perfect ink flow and pictures printing perfect m, had a little dash on 1 ling black in so pit some cleaning fluid in the black amd awesome results, people that say this doesn't work just needs to be patient as the cleaner does the job if giving time, I used it on a Epson ET 4550 ecotank printer that was sitting with no use for over 1 and a half years and getting no ink at all, now works perfectly, money well spent as now my Daughter is doing higher photography studies she can use this printer that's exceptionally good in ink use, can't recommend the enough.

Tales time, but works in the end.
Had to leave the tube on the print head soaking for 4 days before it did anything, but it did work

Worked for me
I have an old epson printer that used to get a lot of use but now rarely gets used. The last print was awful and head cleans only made marginal improvement. I bought this kit as it was not expensive and followed the good instructions. The first clean made a noticable difference but after one more clean, the prints are now sharp again. So if you are in a similar situation with a rarely used printer instead of doing repeated head cleans which uses a lot of ink, give this a go.... its not difficult and, for me, it worked well. P.S. Unlike other kits that I looked at this has quite a large bottle of solution so should last for quite a while.

Took a partially clogged print head and destroyed it.
Ordered this product due to having a partially clogged print heads on my Epson printer which I couldn't clear with the printers built in program. Decided to clean all 4 jets whilst I was at it. Ran the product through as per the instructions and left it to dry, ran a test the following morning to find all colours were now partially clogged. Tried another run through as at this point I figured it couldn't get much worse, after leaving the printer for a while I tried again to find all four colours now completely blocked. As a last ditch effort I removed the print head from my printer to try and give it a thorough clean, following the suggestion to try and draw air up through the print head. What I've now ended up doing is spending ยฃ11 for the privilege of killing my printer, not impressed to say the least.

Well worth the risk.
My old basic Brother printer has been a donkey - it has worked hard for about eight years and I was very attached to it. The colour yellow stopped working properly. I recognised that the printer did not owe me anything but, having watched a couple of videos, I thought it worth the investment to buy this kit to see if I could unblock it.. If it hadn't worked, the loss was small, and if it did, I'd have my lovely old, economical printer back. The instructions with the kit were adequate and the quantity of solvent was plenty. I didn't find the solvent offensive to smell, or particularly harsh only hands, although i tried to avoid as much skin contact as possible. The process was a bit tedious - perseverance was required. BUT IT HAS WORKED. My old printer is as good as new. So, in conclusion, the kit is first class. The process is tedious. Worth doing if you have time and inclination, but if you value your time highly, probably best to buy a new printer.

Great for smaller clogs. Easy to use.
It is nice and easy to use. Instructions are clear. It did not work for me in fully unblocking a print head. I tried multiple times for different times, and while it did help a little, it still dried back up quickly. My printer was quite old though, so I wouldn't knock the cleaner too hard. It's not capable of a miracle.
