Great little Chromebook
My husband's 8-year old Chromebook was no longer updateable and not functioning correctly anymore, so I got this as a replacement. His uses aren't very demanding -- YouTube, social media, email, etc So far this Chromebook is working out great. The keyboard is a decent size for a small computer. He was able to set it up very quickly on his own (without help). The feature that connects the Chromebook to an Android phone made the process even more streamlined. Not sure about the battery life--he uses it only a couple hours in the evening, so no problem there. It connected quickly and easily to our wifi.

Awesome Chromebook
I am very happy with this laptop! Even though it has only an 11.5” inch screen, it’s very easy to look at for a long period of time. The keys are not too close together, so typing is a breeze. It was very easy to set up. Straight out of the box, you just plug in the charger and then turn on the laptop. Mine had a 96% charge on it already. The set up was so easy following the step-by-step instructions on the screen. It even synced up my bookmarks from my old laptop! It is Bluetooth enabled, which made it very easy to work from my apartment. It has a good weight and seems very sturdy. I like that it is light enough though to carry around in my backpack. It holds a charge well. It’s a very basic laptop, with not a lot of bells and whistles. But that’s all I need. I don’t do any streaming or movie watching on it. Basically I use it for social media, emails, and Amazon. So it’s exactly right for my use! I’m so happy that I got this Chromebook. My old laptop was also a Chromebook, and I never had any issues with it getting any viruses. This is the best Chromebook for the money, in my opinion. Great price on it too!

You need to know how to use two finger scrolling
Thought my computer was defective because the arrow keys didn't seem to work. Maybe it is but I read a review that mentioned two finger scrolling so I looked that up and learned how to use two finger scrolling. Very happy now but still trying to get used to it not being a touch screen. (Two finger scrolling is when you use two fingers on the touch pad and drag them up or down. You also need to have the cursor in the area where you want to scroll which catches me off guard some times when I don't pay attention to where the cursor is.)

Don’t buy this crap!!! I didn’t listen!!!
This thing is TRASH. Whatever it’s advertised for?? Is a lie. The only thing you CAN do without lag, or any sort of problem. Is MAYBE google docs…. Took forever to load playstore. And it wouldn’t work for while. Won’t open google images immediately that takes forever to load too. Then, if you can get past all the apps you can’t download bc this garbage isn’t compatible…. MAYBE once you find something worth your time it will work, until it decides it doesn’t want to and takes a crap. I just had to redo a photoshop project over bc it was stuck loading the same thing… it took me two hours. Then once I refresh I loose everything and now I can’t save the redo I’m working on… this thing would be great… if it could actually load and download.. umm anything tbh. No steam, no Xbox, games are run like a phone?? This laptop is so trash save yourself the headache. I just spent a year or so homeless and this was all I could look forward to. I wanted to start school, but there’s NO WAY!!! This thing can handle that type of work… it’s absolutely waste of money. Already contacted for a refund. I’m pissed!!!!

Perfect for our transition to homeschooling
This is similar to what my daughter was using in school, so it's made the transition to online homeschooling very easy. It's compact and easy to take anywhere. It doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles, which is what we wanted, and the battery lasts a LONG time once charged. It isn't used for much else besides online school and additional web browsing for research or school related activities, but it works great so far. It is fast, responsive, and easy to set up. We have had no technical hiccups whatsoever and it has worked well every day so far without a hitch, so we are very pleased. I think it's a perfect Chromebook for homeschooling.

Good little laptop, great for the price
Great little laptop. The performance seems adequate, the screen is bright and easy to see from an angle. The bezel around the screen is pretty thick, but not bad for the price. Surprisingly the touch pad is really responsive and works great. The computer I received doesn't quite match the description, it is just an Acer, not a Gateway, but it's fine. I am happy with it.

Lasted 9 months. Price wise you get what you pay for.
The chromebook was a decent price and worked well for what it was meant for. It's on the lower end of most chromebooks so I didn't expect too much. Multiple processes is hard to work with. Battery life decent. Near the end of life it slowed down to a crawl, but 9 months was what I expected.
