This is thin batting, however if I'd known there was more than 50yds on the roll I'd have doubled it up. It's consistent all the way through unlike bosal, but doubled up, you won't end up with thick and thin sections. I had about 3 meters left on my 1st roll. It's doesn't produce so much lint either. So okay, but if it's for a rug double up. Placemats, 1 strip should do.
