Worked very well. I'm a newb with smelting & this stuff was extremely helpful.

High quality, Pops, a bit expensive.
I used it for casting, ordered 2lbs. was enough to make 3 axe heads, 2 large, 1 small. not sure the type of aluminum but it cast well and wasn't brittle. It also forged nicely. I'm not sure why or what was going on but when I was melting the pellets some did pop like popcorn. No big deal, keep your forge closed or lid on... Note, this stuff is WAY more expensive than most sources, but less expensive than most online sources. If youre looking for aluminum to melt, forge, and cast, find aluminum car rims.
