Quality materials and easy to operate. Carefully consider this type of blind for your situation. If mounted too high or pulled down too low, you might have difficulty reaching it to pull it down, or bending over to lift it up. Depends on your age/physical ability. A corded blind might be better in some cases. Or you might need the optional draw rod to help operate it.For outside-mount, to cover the entire window plus surrounding molding, I measured width of window from outside edges of molding and added the stated gap-width multiplied by two. That is, the width of the blind material is smaller than the width of the roller casement. So for the blind itself to cover the entire width including the molding, order the blind a little bit wider. In my case the stated gap was 3/8-inch, times 2, which I rounded up to 1-inch extra width. Depending on your situation, you could use the width of your bottom sill, if it is slightly wider than the molding edge-to-edge. That way when the blind is down, it completely covers the width of the bottom sill and projects past the side moldings too.Also for outside-mount, I mounted the blind above the top molding with the mounting brackets flush to the wall. The roller and blind still clears the top molding. If you have an exceptionally tall window, with more blind material, you may need shims to bring the casement out away from the wall in this case. I measured the blind's height from the top edge of the molding to the surface of the bottom sill, and added four inches for roller operation. I think you could also add 2 or 3 more inches to the height.

I LOVE this shade and will forever buy from this company because their customer service is amazing. I bought a custom size (76”x84”) roller shade during Prime Day to replace the hideous vertical blinds that covered the sliding glass door in my eat-in kitchen. Took a few weeks for it to be delivered, but was a week ahead of the estimated delivery - unfortunately it was damaged in shipping and the shade would pull-down and stay but would not stay when I tried to roll it back up. The little plastic tab that should be centered at the bottom of the shade to pull up/down evenly was also damaged.I reached out to Persilux Customer Service that evening and they replied the next morning with an apology and a video showing how to re-wind the mechanism to add more tension to the shade and allow it to smoothly roll both up and down. When I took off the end cap to do this, I saw that the casing of the mechanism was cracked and there was no way to re-wind because of that. I took a pic and sent to their Customer Support team and. They apologized and said they would send another right away. I was shocked but also so relieved!I got the replacement today and it works perfectly and the little tab slid on without any issue. I LOVE the way this shade looks and operates - definitely give them a try, you won’t regret it!

This was a perfect fit for my bathroom window, mounted inside the window frame. Installation was simple, just drill four screws to secure the two mounting brackets and clip the shade in. Nice quality and color, easy to pull up/down, and lets light in while providing privacy.

They were easy to order. They did take a few weeks to get here but they arrived sooner than the original date. The quality is great, they are heavy but not to bad. The material feels nice. They are easy to install. I love that they are cordless. They help keep the heat out when they are down. I loved that I could customize the size, my windows are all different sizes.

The blind worked brilliantly & was affordable & the only problem we had was when we took it out of the box & hung it we noticed a pin hole in the middle of the blind, kind of annoying but we were able to patch the hole so no sunlight came through. Other than that the blind is nice & easy to install.

I tested this out by buying two at first. I liked these so much and these were such a significant discount compared to places I shopped around like Home Depot, Lowes, and Blinds.com that I went and bought blinds for my whole house from their website. I am about to install the most recent shipment (including automated blinds) so I'll update if I have any issues, but so far I am so pleased with the quality and price. So glad I found this option!
