Great Security… But Installing It Was a DIY Escape Room
I purchased this lock to keep my autistic son from eloping through our sliding glass door. The lock itself is excellent — it only opens with the key, locks easily without one, and keeps my son safely inside. Once it’s installed, it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It even includes a second piece if you want to add a pet door (though that requires drilling another large hole).However, the installation process was… an experience. The box came with zero instructions — not a paper, not a diagram, not even a “good luck.” Just a bag of metal parts and screws. I even searched YouTube hoping someone had posted a walkthrough, but there wasn’t a single video for this model.I also didn’t realize I would need to drill a large hole straight through my sliding glass door for the metal bar, and getting everything aligned correctly took some trial and error.I’m giving it four stars because the lock itself is fantastic and truly secure, but the instruction‑free installation definitely made it more complicated than it needed to be.

Good but make sure you have enough space to attache.mine was little tight so I could not bracket but made it.
