Trilogy Jewelry Pewter Zodiac Astrology and Astrological Birthday Pendant on Leather Necklace

This is a solid piece of metal jewelry, 1.5" wide, about 1.5" tall from top of loop to the bottom point, and 4mm thick (almost 1/8"). It came on a thick, semi-stiff black cord that I removed because I bought this for the Capricorn symbol itself which I used on a necklace I made.The symbol isn't quite an accurate/traditional Capricorn symbol, which usually has the loop, hence the -1 star but I could see that in the picture so it wasn't a surprise. However I really like that the symbol is stand-alone; that it isn't attached to some background and is just the symbol itself. It's a VERY sturdy piece of metal, not flimsy in the least.

This is a beautiful necklace, but it's not exactly what I expected. It's a tad bigger than I would have preferred, but that is completely my fault, because I didn't read the description fully. The leather string isn't as appealing as I thought it would be, though, and the paint is slightly chipped in the crevices. The quality of the pendant itself is nice, but overall it kind of looks like something you would get out of a toy machine at the supermarket. Although, the shipping time was extraordinary, as it came within three days of ordering.

This came in a little larger than expected, but that's a good thing. The quality is great and it has an artisan look to it. Black leather cord with adjustable length closure. I was so impressed, I decided to add a picture to give an idea of the size. It's a pretty pewter finish, it's just reflecting the yellowish lamp light in the pic.**Oops. I realised later the first pic was of the back, so I added the front pic, too.

Inexpensive fashion piece. Oft-complimented. Pewter, so it does tarnish, but has only enhanced the look imo

I was looking for a reasonably-priced necklace with my zodiac's symbol and was deterred when I saw that all were either childish and cheap OR made of precious metals and far out of my budget. This pewter beauty is all that I hoped for: inexpensive, safe, American-made, and of good quality. My only warning is to look closely at the size of the pendant- it's roughly 1.5 inches long by 1.5 inches wide. While larger than what I usually wear, it's still small enough to avoid being gaudy or uncomfortable.

Honestly, you do kinda get what you pay for. However, I was really hoping that I would be able to get more than 2 wears out of it before the chain completely broke on the back and left it unwearable. It also got lost in the mail, which isn't necessarily their fault, but after waiting for over a month for this, it was disappointing to wear this one time before it broke.

So happy.I got it for my daughter and she love it. Which was wonderful because she is very picky. She wears it everyday. She loves how the size and the unique design.
