Literally, only 1 of 100 was damaged and looks like they tried to just tape it rather than toss it. I’m hoping that I don’t have to return all of them just to replace the 1.The other 99 are super awesome and I love the design. The one damaged product isn’t going to stop me from purchasing from them in the future.

Protecting your MTG cards basically comes down to two main options, Ultra Pro vs Dragon Shield. As I’ve now both played and collected MTG cards for well over a decade, I pretty much have tried all of the choices. Ultra Pro has some very nice artwork and these sleeves are a great example of just how decent their artwork can be. Dragon Shield on the other hand will sport some very nice colors (matte or glossy), and is second to none when it comes to the feel and quality of their sleeves, but look elsewhere if you want cool art. Being that the manufacturing process differs so much between the two brands, Ultra Pro unfortunately will not be as durable and won’t hold up nearly the same over time.So, I had a very good idea about what to expect and was for the most part correct. I was highly impressed with the artwork; in my case featuring Bello, Bard of The Brambles in MTG’s Bloomburrow series. I did a cursory check of each of the 100 sleeves and did not spot any glaring quality control issues. I know that some people have experienced various problems, but all of my sleeves seemed to be properly cut to the correct dimensions and were fully intact. My only issue of sorts was with the feel as they’re rather difficult to separate upon taking one from the top of a pile. That said, they present with a rather insubstantial feel, so I would not expect these to hold up well in the long term. Maybe if you’re very careful with them, but I’ve had other, similar sleeves and the two sides will eventually begin to separate. That’s simply part of the trade off with getting high quality artwork.The bottomline after trying many similar products is that I can’t really say anything particularly bad about these sleeves as this is the level of quality that I’ve come to expect from Ultra Pro. The artwork is phenomenal, but I would not expect these sleeves to last very long with any significant use. They are just too delicate for serious playing and will eventually start splitting. They do make great sleeves for archival purposes. All said, I would recommend these if you specifically want them for the artwork, but cannot recommend them exclusively for playing. Anyone that will need a quality sleeve for playing that will hold up well should look at the matte Dragon Shield sleeves. They will be in the same relative price range and will work well even for competitive decks.

Fortunately, I didn't have any issues with miscuts or inconsistent sizing like some of the reviewers. The cards have a matte front and the side with the artwork is glossy which is also a little grippy when you first get them. I'm fairly sure they'll be less sticky after a bit of use.I don't double-sleeve so the cards are a little looser inside the sleeve, but not floating around like they would be inside of penny sleeves.Some of the corners arrived with some sharp bends in them. I'm not sure if this is a packaging issue, or if it's due to amazon's packaging but it's something worth mentioning. I didn't bother to request a replacement since I only play casually and don't plan on using these for any competitive play rules.

Love the design and the quality of these sleeves. They protect my cards really well, and the artwork looks fantastic. A must-have for any MTG player.

I've had some arrive with a little variation but this was the first time it was this noticeable. It makes shuffling clumsy and irritating. I've put in for a replacement. Hopefully it was a one-off.
