I have heard more about collagen lately as it relates to joints, tendons, etc. and lately even though active just the same have experienced a few more odd creaks, tweaks, and otherwise odd minor "injuries" in my left elbow and right wrist. One thought I had is that maybve I'm approaching that age (39 still) where these things start to happen. The other anti-aging benefits were a bonus so thought the price on this version is too cheap to pass up. I use their chocolate protein powder as well and mix it with weigh and it adds in this rich deliciously chocolaty flavor even though their vanilla lends itself more towards chalky. So thought these peptides might fall somewhere in the middle. Mixability: Have found no issues with hot drinks such as coffee. Have also mixed it in with cold brew (slightly cooler than room temp). Only found that it took longer to fully dissolve. NO issues with clumps like others have reported, **as long as you stir long enough**. Even with cold brew I stirred for maybe 30-40 secs most. Taste: I have read complaints on taste, maybe due to the stevia. I have found no issues with taste. -Coffee: I was worried it might have a weird gristly type of taste but my favorite Farmer Brothers Artisan Trattoria blend black coffee tasted pretty much the same and did not alter it much at all. With creamer it also tastes just the same. I'm only using half of a scoop though for 10g per cup of coffee. -Protein shaeks: I mix in around 5g with most of my protein shakes and of no course flavor difference noticed. -Yogurt: Have tried mixing into Triple Zeros and I didn't care for the taste in here, it was noticably different whereas sometimes when I add in whey protein powder it slightly enhances the taste. I've been using it for only like 2 weeks so no fountain of youth to report on it. I never expect to see very noticeable differences like this too but if I'm free of any additional minor exercise/weight related injuries in the next year I will be sold it works.

So far, so good—I just finished my first tub of this collagen powder. It mixes beautifully, especially when combined with other protein powders. On its own with just water, the taste wasn’t great (hard to describe, but not something I’d drink plain), so I definitely recommend mixing it into something flavored. I’ve had great results blending it with chocolate, vanilla, and other flavored protein powders, where it dissolves easily and doesn’t change the taste. One of the main reasons I chose this brand over others is that one scoop provides 18g of protein, whereas many other collagen powders require multiple scoops to get close to that. I prefer a more concentrated product. I can’t yet speak to long-term health benefits like skin or hair improvement—I originally wanted to try this to help with stress-related hair loss—but it has absolutely helped me hit my daily protein goals. For protein supplementation alone, this product is fantastic. I’ll plan to update my review once I’ve used it longer.

This collagen is a great price and a great quality. I appreciate that it is a one scoop serving. It does have a slight taste to it in my opinion but I can deal with it for the health benefits. Since switching to this brand a month ago I have little frizzy baby hairs all around my head (new hair growth) and my nails are growing and feeling stronger. I try to remember to take it every day.

I just started taking the product a few days ago to strengthen my nails and hair. Also to add with skin and hopes to replace some collagen and prevent wrinkles. I will start by saying the container was filled half way which other reviewers have commented. It is NOT tasteless. To me it tastes like evaporated or powered milk. I can see why they advertise for it to be added to coffee because most people would add cream or milk anyway which has a similar taste, therefore it would be essentially "tasteless". I tried mine the first few times with tea. The tea flavors I tries the product with do not have strong flavors, so it tasted like I added evaporated milk to my tea it was not bad though it was drinkable. I tried to mix it in with my cereal since I eat my cereal with milk, but I could still taste the powered milk flavor. I think the flavor of the product was actually stronger in the milk as oppose to the tea. I will have to try it in a smoothie and see if I can still taste it. I will have to update my review later as it relates to effectiveness of the product.

I decided this deserves five stars because it's consistently inexpensive, has a consistently acceptable flavor in coffee, and works consistently well for me. I am a train-spotter of good collagen. It's the only supplement I use every single day without fail because I have had such extreme improvements in my health and appearance as a result of it. Less joint pain, more energy for a few hours after taking (sometimes I take it before exercise but I'm also more focused on it so it benefits my ADD), somewhat of a appetite suppressant owing to it's high protein content, better skin, hair stays in my head whereas before collagen, I suffered from alopecia, but also an improvement in vaginal lubrication (there, I said it). I'm a middle-aged woman and this stuff has kept my nethers thrilled or at least not in pain during sex. Nobody talks about this possible positive effect so I feel forced to share... vaginal atrophy (dryness) during perimenopause or actual menopause is caused by a depletion of collagen due to a depletion of hormones so it makes sense that supplementation can help (look into CO2 laser treatments if it doesn't and you are coping with this). Purely Inspired has one con, which is that it doesn't dissolve as easily as some others in hot beverages, you have to stir a little longer to break the lumps of powder up BUT it does dissolve with a little effort. The taste is innocuous, I think most people would say taste-free, not gamey or poisonously burnt tasting like some other collagens. I have tried this now I think four times and each time the quality control has been excellent, which can't be said for other cheapish collagen powder I've tried. Some will taste beefier or more burnt than the previous purchase. I guess the companies spend so much on the manufacturing that they can't afford to toss the spoiled product, but I haven't experienced this problem with this collagen. A lot of other companies also raise the price after the positive reviews pour in (at the cheaper price). This gets a 5 star review at its cheap price. If it were more expesnive, it would lose maybe even two stars for the dissolving issue and also for not revealing source on packaging or even on Amazon description. The cows are usually from Brazil, even with the expensive collagens but some are from China. Brazil's farming regulations aren't that much better (or at all?) than China's. Let's not pretend taking this stuff isn't at the expense of animal welfare and the environment in other ways, but in my case I feel this supplement is a quality of life gamechanger. Try it for at least a a few weeks before giving up on it, I only noticed it working like a couple of weeks in.

i've just received this today, so i don't really have anything to go off of with the results of long-term use. however, i put one full scoop that it came with (it does measure out to 20g) into my morning coffee and i can taste the protien in it so well. i don't know if my taste buds are just superhuman as most of the reviews are saying they can't taste anything, but it's all i can taste. maybe i got a bad batch? im not sure. i was going to return it because of the taste of protien, but i guess i missed the word "protien" on the bottle when i added this to my cart. that, or i forgot thats what i wanted as i do workout. ugh. i was just excited for the flavorless collagen. the taste is just terrible. it was a little lumpy when i first poured the hot coffee into my mug with sweetener and this powder, but after a good stir, it mixed in well. i will continue to use it despite the taste as collagen is essential to your body, but im not gonna like it. i will be making tomorrow's coffee will be just a bit stronger.

Great collagen! Good price for a 30 day supply. Blends easily into my hot water which I use to make matcha lattes, also blends into hot coffee. The collagen doesn’t clump, or leave a film on top of my drink. Nor does it have a weird smell or taste. I can’t say for sure if it makes my skin have less fiber lines or wrinkles— or any huge difference in my joints— but I’ve been using it for a few months now and my skin looks healthy, plump and glowing. Also, I broke my ankle quite badly a little over a year ago and the pain doesn’t bother me as much as it used to especially on rainy days. I also take it because as a woman going through perimenopause, I know I need all the help I need in the next decade (for a number of reasons) and this checks all the boxes. One reviewer mentioned this helping her feminine moisture— while I don’t have that exact issue or trouble in the lady moisture department, sometimes I suffer from cold weather induced sensitivity. (Google winter va*ina). While it’s not a problem from spring to early winter, come the real cold, it’s a nuisance. With all the dry heat (space heater and forced air blasting all winter long) my nose, throat, eyes, skin and other mucus membranes in my body tend to feel dry and uncomfortable all winter. I don’t know if it’s placebo effect after reading her review (I honestly don’t think so) or maybe just the warm weather creeping up on us — but this certainly seems as thorough it’s taken away any discomfort I might have had. I usually drink one full serving in the am and sometimes I’ll have a have a small scoop later in the day. (Yes I realize it’s more than recommended and more doesn’t always mean better plus there’s still a debate whether or not the collagen peptides even absorb through the stomach and make it to the skin). Either way it has made the last month or so much more tolerable when I take it daily, my ankle doesn’t ache as often or as bad, and an added: bonus my skin hair and nails all look great. Highly recommend.

Been using this consistently and it delivers. Mixes easily into whatever I am drinking without clumping or leaving a weird texture behind. Unflavored means it does not mess with the taste of anything I add it to which was the main thing I needed. Hair, skin and joints all feel like they are benefiting with regular use. Nothing dramatic overnight but steady noticeable difference over time which is realistic for a collagen supplement. Simple, clean ingredient list, easy to use daily and actually works. Hard to ask for more than that.

After 1 tub of use I can already see some results. I’m looking forward to seeing some more the longer I use it.
