NEED FOR ORGO
i cannot express how much i loved this tool while i was taking orgo! tiny little tool you can place into a folder and make sure your structures look nice and tidy in your notes

Versatile, durable, pays itself off in just a few uses.
When you have as big a gap between your drawing skills and desired chemical perfectionism as I do, you don't get far free-handing structures before succumbing to shame and spite for hexagons. This stencil lets you pump structures out perfectly (which it turns out feels pretty good) and is easy and relatively quick to use once you get a slight hang of the faster ways to chain its elements together. Thanks to this stencil, through both the sketching process and the perfect finished product, I found myself much more able to commit structures drawn only once to long-term memory, my mind liberated from the need to actively "correct" my free-hand drawings, or visualize them without their incongruities while suppressing personal frustration at a putatively simple geometric task. This stencil slides neatly into the pocket of any binder, folder, divider, et cetera, it's as portable as the paper you'll be using it on.As far as features that could be improved on (or compensated for by customers with other stencils), I do wish it included a handful of the most common elements' letters/symbols, so I could for example incorporate a nitrogen atom without the N looking inferior to the rest of the immaculate molecule. It would also be nice if the plastic was slightly more transparent, since you're often depending on seeing through it without the benefit of a hole (or enough of them) to align it just right when making a benzene/phenyl group, for example. Not that those are dealbreakers, it's still perfectly usable and you'll only feel slowed down if you're going nuts on perfectionism, it would just make it easier in less-than-perfect light conditions.Anyways, I'd recommend this to a friend and my classmates have enjoyed borrowing mine.

Flimsy but useful
The product is very useful but the material is super thin and bends easilyFits in between book pages and in binder nicely , so n8vely that it becomes difficult to find!

Very useful
This has really helped me to draw reactions accurately for organic chemistry

Helpful
It’s exactly what I need for my Ochem class. Only minor complaint is it’s a little flimsy but I can easily look past that.

It's so great, my orgo professors wants one!
This is one of best tools I've ever gotten for chemistry. It's flexible and durable. I use it all the time in class and in my lab journal. Unlike some other reviews, my stencil has excellent clean-cut edges all around. The thing I like about it (aside from keeping everything neat) is that it enables me to make the structures quickly and keep up with the lecture. If I draw them on my own it can take too long and I either miss stuff or I use entirely too much paper. I find this stencil very convenient for my needs. My professors saw it and asked where they could get one. The only way they could improve on it is if they made it in a slightly larger version for older professors who like to see larger drawings. If you're taking orgo, you don't need that special octagon writing tablet or graphing paper, this is all you need. This stencil works like a charm.

The figures are a good size.
It's made from a sturdy plastic. I used it on an exam. The figures were just the right size and helped me quickly put them on paper so I could go on to the next question.
