I have a beloved cat that likes to pee on my clothes or bedding for attention pretty often. If you’re a cat owner, you know how bad cat urine smells and how impossible it feels to get rid of the smell. I’ve tried using natures miracle enzyme urine destroyer spray and then throwing it in the wash and ive also tried putting vinegar in my fabric softener compartment during the wash cycle. Both have not been able to get rid of the smell. This detergent has changed everything for me. It is a bit pricey, but I can tell the bag will last me a while, so I think it’s worth it! Not only does it smell good, like regular detergent, but it completely gets rid of the cat urine smell. I’m so relieved to have found this detergent and even more excited that it’s a small business!! If you need a solution for really bad urine smells, this is the one!!

Really works well and only need a couple of scoops. I have a cat who pees on furniture when I'm away from home for more than 2 days. The most recent was on my bed which soaked through comforters and sheets and into the inner covers. I used this detergent with front-open washer with one scoop more than recommended. The smell is all gone. Scoop spoon provided in the bag and closes with ziplock. Very convenient.I used to use the liquid kind and I needed to use the whole gallon just to remove this type of stain and smell, which costed me $22 per gallon, and has a weird minty after smell. This is so much cheaper and cleans very well.Highly recommended.

I have a few cats that urinate on things when I don't clean the box in time. I've so many different products that failed until I stumbled upon this on Amazon. I was a bit unsure on buying because of the price, but the previous reviews seemed to be fairly decent. I did one wash and it didn't get all the smells out of the clothes, etc that my cats got on. I tried a next time when I did laundry along with the Nature's Made Laundry Boost and it took the whole smell out of soiled items. I can't say this is great on its own but it works very with the laundry boost. I guess you have to catch the smells quickly since I live in an urban city where I have to go to a laundromat. But it took out month long smells out so I can't complain. I do find my clothes have smell which I can really pinpoint what it smells like but you can smell the ingredients of it on it. It could be not putting enough fabric softener on it or using drying sheets on it after the wash. But I won't use that against me not repurchasing this item. Me adding another product with it can also be the result of the particular washing machine which is different from a home washing machine so you may not need an additional item to take the smells out your clothes. I would definitely recommend this product regardless of my first use of it. I purchased this on May 9 and I still have a good decent amount of it. My cats occasionally urinate on things so I'm glad I don't need to use it frequently.

This stuff is awesome! Took the dog smell and urine smell right out of the fabric! We have a puppy and have been using another product- NM - and it sucks compared to this. The puppy is older now, but wish I had this when we first got him! He still has accidents but less so now. I will continue to use to wash my bedding as they sleep in my bed.

***UPDATE*** Adding a star. This detergent works really well with fresher "accidents." In fact, it cleans the urine and smell completely. If it's a fresh mess, you can get by without soaking the item first. I'll use 2 scoops (my first purchase didn't come with a scooper, but my second one did) and wash with hot water. Sometimes I'll add "regular" detergent with it to boost cleaning power. Anyways, I've been very satisfied with this lately.***OLD REVIEW***It's ability to remove cat urine really depends on how long your cat has been doing its business on the item. And how saturated that item has gotten. Soaking the item with 1-2 Tbs of this for an hour or longer in warm water really helps. But some things can and will be beyond repair. I would imagine using this when the urine is fresher and discovered earlier, could really help. But I'm not sure. My item was hidden away getting blasted for who knows how often and how long.

This stuff works! I washed my dogs bed with this, and it came out better than ever before! It was cleaner, fresher smelling, and the pup loved it. Laid right down on it without sniffing it all over. Glad I found this product. Will look into other products this company has to offer.

We have many dogs we care for with some of the doggiest laundry and smells from even urine e and feces. This detergent cleaned the toughest messes on comforters, blankets, dog beds, ect. There is no scent except clean after you wash items with it. Your laundry dryer fabric sheets will give you the lingering scent if you want one. It also works great on bedding.

I have bought about 4-6 bags of this product. It works wonders as it removes stains and smells. This has worked on my senior dog’s toys (both for hand washing and in the washing machine), her bedding, and also for washable pee pads. The items washed come out brighter and remove the dog’s scent. The package suggests what amount to put with the wash, but I do two scoops. This is a great value, easy to use, and a convenient size for laundry detergent. I highly recommend the product and have suggested it to friends. More importantly the product is safe for my dog and she can enjoy all of her things cleaned up.
