New BalanceWomen's Fresh Foam X More V5 Running Shoe

Not the most attractive shoe but definitely the most comfortable. Lots of bounce and shock absorption. I’m 55 with new hip and back pain and these shoes are everything! I have a bounce in my step, added height and comfy feet with no pain at the end of the day. My normal size 8 1/2 were too short in length. I returned and got size 9 and it was perfect. I have narrow feet and these shoes hug and support me.

I have flat feet AND plantar fasciitis thanks to the military. Finding good shoes for running/walking has been a nightmare! I have tried them all! Everything from having a custom fitting to every combination of shoes and inserts one could fathom!These NB shoes are absolutely fantastic! They aren’t like the other overly cushioned brands.*1st-the amount of cushioning is absolutely amazing. It is literally like walking on a cloud with each step! I went to a big box store and tried on at least 20 different brands. They were all comfortable but ohhh booyyyy, once I put these on….the search stopped right then and there. I know there are naysayers out there who say these types of shoes aren’t good for your feet because there is so much cushioning and may not support your feet as well and I can see where they’re coming from…on all of the other brands. Over time, all of the extra padding inside the shoe will breakdown enabling your feet to rock outside the ideal straight up and down position.2nd However, NB has this covered. These actually cup your foot. (Red line in side view of the shoe is where your foot sits.) The sole of the shoe comes halfway up your foot creating said cup. This keeps your foot from sliding one way or another. (It is worth noting that because of the amount of cushioning, I’ve noticed I have to work a little bit harder when running, but that comes with any of the brands that manufactures this type of shoe.) I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND these shoes for anyone, not just those that may have issues with their feet. When I say RUN, do not walk…to get these shoes, I mean it!! P.S. When ordering make sure you get the ones that say “More” on the heel and the tongue says “Fresh Foam More”. NB has several variations of the “Fresh Foam” line.

I needed extra cushion as I have back pain from herniated lumbar discs. Wearing these really helps alleviate the pain.They run small I suggest buying a half size larger than normal.

If you look at my previous reviews I’ve raved about new balance foams. THESE ARE THE ULTIMATE. I have offically found my forever sneaker. The squish is perfect but not too squishy. There is more bounce back than my previous foam style. They come in X wide if you need it which is great for a running sneaker. I get complements all the time on them. Buy them. My toes are an issue for me while running and literally nothing hurts with these. Not my knees. Not my toes. Nothing. I’ll always buy these forever and ever. 1000% worth every penny. Definitely would recommend to everyone. I’ll legit never buy another type of sneaker again

These shoes are extremely comfortable. I have terrible heel pain and these shoes help so much with minimalizing the pain. I did buy wide and do feel like the shoes look HUGE, but the comfort outweighs the looks by far.

Have many New Balance fresh foam thick heeled sneakers and like them as I am on my feet all day at work. Heel height is comfortable especially since I have plantar fasciitis and my heels are not painful wearing these sneakers. I did notice however that by the end of the day the top of my big toes hurt as the fit of the sneakers for some reason on the top of the shoe is tight which I have not noticed with my other sneakers of the same brand and size. It would also be nice to have a splash of color with these sneakers as they are very dull looking.

Beware if you have a low arch this show will cause you so much pain. At first they feel great but overtime I had severe hip, knee and foot pain. Finally I went to Fleet Feet and found out this is a horrible shoe for me and I needed the Brooks Glycerin. Make sure you go get scanned before buying shoes. I will change and update my review of the company lets me return them because they should list in descriptions which type of feet shoes are for.

Super cute and comfy, bought the wide one the regular is too narrow for me. I’ll use it to my work. I think this is one of the shoes that my feet likes same as the NB1080.
