This radio has a beautiful vintage look and works great. The sound quality is clear and has a very nostalgic feel, which I really love. It also has Bluetooth, which is a nice bonus and makes it easy to play music from my phone. It picks up AM/FM stations well and feels solid and well made. Portable, easy to use, and perfect as both a functional radio and a decor piece.

I like the bt feature and the rechargeable backup power. The low end of the volume is small and it gets loud very early on the dial but the sound is clear and crisp, exactly what I want to hear the news. The bluetooth feature is easy to use and connects to each different device I have. I haven't tested the rechargeable battery for any length of time but it came fully charged and it does work. The tuning knob has nice smooth action and it lights up with a nice warm glow. Despite it's small size, people notice it and comment how cute my Retro radio is! I really like it too!

Honestly, this radio is higher than 5 stars. I never write reviews but this purchase compelled me to. Not only does it look retro, it sounds awesome. 3 ways to power it.....plug it into outlet, use D batteries or use the on board rechargeable battery. Listen to it via Bluetooth, or plug in device via a c port cable or listen to AM/FM radio which works way better than I thought it would. If you're looking for a nostalgic look, but great sound, buy this radio!

This is a pretty good radio, all in all. What I like about it is the gold color with the big lighted dial...LOVE the design! Also, being a longtime radio nerd, I like the fact that there's no bluetooth light when listening via that method, so it gives the appearance I'm actually tuned into an AM/FM radio station when using bluetooth. The audio quality is ok for this type of unit. I wish it did offer a little more bass but the overall sound is acceptable. The only other drawbacks that I have found with it is the mode selector feels slighty loose when turning between the various listening options so I'm kind of concerned if I use it too much, the knob might break. As is the case with most of these smaller radio units, the bluetooth volume must be turned up louder in order to hear it compared to listening just to the AM and FM portion of the radio. The volume increase for the radio is much more dramatic. Barely turning the volume knob gets really loud so I have to be careful adjusting it when using the AM/FM portion of the unit.. The fact that there are three sources of power for this radio (AC, rechargeable battery, D size batteries) makes it a good choice for using it in a fixed location or taking it with you.
