I have been using STTP for years. One of the reasons I bought this from Cesco was because it came in a 10lb size. I use it for many different purposes and needed the bigger size. It was also cheaper than other ones I saw. I usually but from another vendor on the web but saw this brand from Cesco. I am so happy I purchased this. It performs perfectly. It dissolves quickly. No clumping or issues. The STTP ships in a resealable bag which is easy to store and use and Cesco had it protected well for shipping. Cesco also shipped it quickly and I received it before the scheduled arrival date. If you are an avid STTP user you won't be disappointed in this product or the shipper. Both are great!

Folks, this stop is amazing in the dishwasher. Years ago the water in the dishwasher ruined our glasses and made them permanently cloudy. We then bought a new Bosch dishwasher and the water still ruined our glasses and dishes. We tried everything off the shelves, every kind of detergent and every rinse aid. It was not until we started using STTP that the dishes started coming out amazingly clean. Just a half a teaspoon with normal dishwashing detergent and you’ll be amazed. It may take a couple weeks before the dishwasher actually gets cleaned of all the residue. Then After researching the Health effects, turns out this method is actually healthier as it dissolves and removes soap and hard after residue that is otherwise left on your dishes.

I've used sodium tripolyphosphate (STPP) for quite a while now, especially in my dishwasher where it really helps getting the heavy crud off the dishes. Cesco shipped it very quickly, within a couple of hours after I ordered it. Major kudos to them.Hope to order again from Cesco and since they are within driving distance from me, maybe I'll stop in and see if they have other goodies such as surfactants.

I purchased some Sodium Tripolyphosphate from another seller a year or so ago and it worked amazingly! It was a very fine powder, like baby powder, and it really did a good job cleaning clothes. I ran out of that bag and purchased this bag from this seller. It may be the same ingredient as the first one I bought, but this is a much more coarse version, with big granules, and it sometimes does not dissolve completely. I only use 1/2 to 1 tsp per load and I see this gummed up on the washer door in small clumps from time to time. I never had that issue with the fine powder version, not even once.If you're going to buy some Sodium Tripolyphosphate to add to your washer, try and find the fine powder version because it disolves way better than the larger granules.

As near as I can tell, the dishwasher detergent sold on Amazon as containing phosphates doesn't actually have any. There's no mention of the phosphate content on the label as required by law. Another symptom were rainbow colored "birthmarks" on stainless steel flatware.A teaspoon is all you need. Put it in the main wash detergent chamber with a pod or a dose of powdered detergent. Use the high temp option if available. After a couple of washes, the "birthmarks" will be gone and the original shine will come through.Oh, and, DON'T spike your car wash bucket with STPP. The problem with phosphates is when they go untreated into waterways. Use it only in your washer and dishwasher so the waste water is properly treated.

Use this with most detergents and soaps to greatly improve cleaning ability. Really works well highly recommended. Used to clean tank on old kerosene heater. I mixed it with dawn dishwashing liquid and the water turned brown almost immediately by just sloshing it around in the tank, the dawn alone couldn't strip off the old residue by itself.

This is the stuff you want if you are doing laundry, not TSP which is different. Ensure you dissolve it in a separate cup of hot water before adding to laundry (I use a plastic disposable drink cup that I keep under my sink). Bag arrived safe and sealed. No issues. This is a chemical, not a consumer product. Do not use this without safety measures. Wash your hands after. Open it in the sink, clean spills, don't inhale it, etc. It's also not going to melt you if you touch it but just be careful.

Product works as expected. My HE front loader washing machine now gets things clean and less detergent is required. Just wish I could find it a little cheaper.I had researched the product and how to use it on the internet. Using it properly is key to it working as desired. Do your research!
