Do I need to put the tooth paste every time I Brush in this?

Maybe your question is - will it effectively clean teeth without paste? It does clean pretty well but I suggest you use a little baking soda once in 2 days if you don't want to use toothpaste at all. Although I am sensitive to the chemical load in paste I use a pea size amount of paste every other day..
