I like how this hair color stays on my hair. After several washes it discolors in a beautiful way. After 2 weeks of washing my hair, I like how light brown it looks on my hair. But if you have thick black natural hair l, I think it may not come out as brown as you want. It depends upon the type of hair texture you have. It totally works on my long, straight and medium thickness hair.

I have ordered this item via Subscribe & Save thrice and all three times the hair colour didn't caught up well, seems like an expired or inferior quality item, this never happened when purchased from a retailer/mart.

I have already bought and used Garnier light brown from Amazon. As I had no problem with Garnier hair dye, I decided to try Garnier Caramel Brown (5.32) this time. I am really glad I did, because this is exactly the shade I have been looking for. Pros. 1. Lovely rich brown. My hair is mostly grey, and this colour looks good on it. 2. No hairfall or any other adverse reaction. 3. Not too liquid so it is easy to use and does not splash everywhere. 4. Pleasant, mild fragrance Cons. 1. It does not last long, so you have to dye more frequently than you do if you use Godrej hair dye. But lasts far longer and costs much less than Loreal. 2. You have to leave it on your hair for 60-90 minutes and not as mentioned in the instructions. Otherwise, most of the colour washes off even the first time you wash your hair, i.e. when you wash your hair after dyeing. 3. If you leave the dye on your hair for 60-90 minutes, the colour stays longer, but it turns into a darker shade of brown. This still looks good, so this is what I do All in all, I am happy with Garnier Caramel Brown.
