I bought this for a 8 month old stray dog who was fighting a mild skin infection. She was already on antibiotics and I was told the easiest way to increase her immunity is by adding salmon oil to her diet. My experience with dogs has taught me about their fussy nature so I bought the lowest variant just to see if she even has it without making a fuss. On the first day I mixed it with pedigree chicken gravy pouch and she licked it off the bowl! The 2nd time I mixed it with Jerhigh gravy pouch and this time too she seemed to relish it. And the 3rd time I mixed it with boiled eggs and this time too she ate it. Whether the chicken/egg masked the salmon oil smell/taste or it is appetizing in itself I wouldn't know but she ate it all times and that's a relief. I haven't finished even a week so can't say about its effect yet. But I am hoping it does strengthen her immunity so that she recovers and there is no recurrence of skin issues in future. The bottle inside the box was sealed but the outer box had its lid affixed loosely making it easy for anyone to open and close. The smell wasn't repulsive to me and that's a huge plus. The smell was somewhat mild although if it sticks to hand then you gotta rinse it with soap. The bottle has a small measurement cup which is very useful to measure and administer the quantity. Since the stray is around 10kgs I measure and give her 5ml. Overall, I am satisfied and would continue to buy it.

I personally consume salmon oil as well so have an idea of how it should be. This one for animals is thicker than human grade, the smell is absolutely fishy. My dogs having it mixed with his kibble and mix of meat or fish. He seems to like it.He loves fish anyways so this adds the fishy smell and he is gulping it. No loose motion or any adverse effect. Will update after a month on its effectiveness on coat and itch. Didn't have to wait for a month. The products efficacy is visible after a week. The coat is better, the dandruff has reduced, hair fall has reduced

My dog was having alot hair shed during summer season and dandruff, with doctors medicine he got so dull he stopped playing and always in a dull mood but then I ordered this drools salmon oil I saw an amazing result after one week of use my dog stopped shedding and his dandruff also went away and my dog rio also love the taste of the syrup so it was easy to feed him.

not sure what it does to my dog differently. but it really stinks. so get ready. HAHA

Not sure it's an allergy but it gave my dog a bad stomach.

I bought it coz of the size but when i open it it is the same size like other product .. not sure the affect on my pet .she is fine I did not notice any bad or good affect

I don't know if this is effective as when I tried it for my kitten, he throw up the next day and lost his appetite on eating. I'm so worried because he loves to eat before but after giving this to my kitten, he don't like to eat anymore. I tried his favorite variations of wet food, his dry food, my home made cat food but he didn't eat anymore. 😢😢
