Tata Tea Gold | Assam teas with Gently Rolled Aromatic Long Leaves | Rich & Aromatic Chai | Black Tea | 500gram|Loose Leaves

I was using other brands of tea for several years. Then we (my wife and I) thought to find out something that we could call simply amazing. We tried Tata Tea Premium and continue with that for about an year. We were adding ginger, cardemom (ilaichi) and sometimes basil (tulsi) leaves for flavour. But it so happened that due to some medical preferences we stopped using ginger. Price of cardemom is very high - about 1500 Rs per kg. When we stopped additional flavours our tea did not remain tasty. We changed milk and sugar brands etc.Then one day we tried Tata Tea Gold. Now it's been several years and we have continued with the same. No other tea brand could give us so great a taste and freshness as Gold. We do not add spices such as ginger, cardemom etc. Our tea is simply very tasteful.Try it for sure. You will not regret. This is your money well spent. When you try, specially after reading these lines, do post something in reply so that others may also know.For me, I have always respected the way Tatas have treated their fellow Indians... I am a fan of several products of Tata.. Tata salt, Tata Tanishq items, Tata Harrier (the new car)... And now Tata Tea Gold.

This is the only tea I have drunk for the past many years. Other tea leaves have irritated my stomach and caused problems for me. I was so relieved when this came on to the market and I found it delicious and safe. It is a leaf curl and long leaf mix and not a dust; so you have to brew it after it has boiled, to draw out the taste. I like a strong cup, so I add a little extra to simmering water, bring it to boil and then let it simmer for 3 to 4 minutes. I add a little milk when I drink it, but you can brew this in milk, or milk-water mix. I also love it with ginger, cardamom, cloves and cinnamon added to the boiling water to make a masala tea. This tea has a lovely flavour once it has brewed, with no hint of bitterness. And I find that the quality and taste has always been the same, pack after pack, through the years. I really appreciate that. It also stores well, because I take a while to get through a half kilo pack. And thanks to pantry for the good discounts!

The aroma of tea is good but i felt sour taste on my tongue after dink tea, its staying for long time and felt sourness all over the day, i don't know this feeling for me only or everyone feel's like that i don't know 😐

For those who would prefer the english tea.with color,This is a wonderful mix of CTC and long leaf for those who prefer taste with the colorThe CTC imparts the color to the tea -which is preferred by most of the tea drinkers.However the mix of long leaf gives it a flavor which gives it a special appeal.However to really enjoy the taste - please do not boil the tea leaves in the water.Let the water boil - put the gas off & put one tea spoon for each cup of tea - let it simmer for some time in the boiled water .Do not add sugar or milk to the tea.Pour the tea in a cup add milk and sugar to taste.Enjoy your cup of tea !

Just the way I like it.A perfect mix of taste and flavour. It is light and sweet.The cardamom taste is subtle and mildly fragrant.And the tea does not leave a bitter aftertaste.I dislike strong teas . This is perfect for me.

Great flavour, we have enjoyed this tea for a while now and still love it. Glad to get a bigger pack this time.

Very very good tea.

Have been using this tea for many years now. It makes perfect kadak Indian chai. However cost in Amazon is very high, normally it would cost not more than 5 pounds in the local shop ( FYI : its loose tea, not tea bags)
