Very happy , great product. I've bought all diffrent types of tumeric over the years but I always come back to this one . The taste is good and it works far better from any other I tried before . I recommend to all of my friends and family.

Use this in my morning shots lasts well

I received this 200g pouch of Turmeric powder and was very pleased to find that not only does it seem more dense and vibrant to what I usually buy from the supermarket, the taste is more robust and aromatic than usual. I try to use Turmeric often in cooking and in drinks, often adding it to my morning ground coffee which works very well. The health benefits seem vast with Turmeric and I do enjoy the taste, although this one is listed as being double strength and I am therefore being a bit more sparing with my uses, as I don't want it to overpower other ingredients. A good sized pouch like this will last me a good while, although I never understand why they often fill it only half way, if that. I photographed the pouch upon first opening and it already looks as though I have used about a third of the packet. With using less since it is double strength and having a good amount overall, I still think this is reasonably good value for money even at £6.95, when you consider you're spending at least £1 on a small 45g jar from most supermarkets and the quality certainly isn't as good as this. I would definitely purchase this again.

A great way to stay healthy and mixes really well in water or milk. Don't add too much as it's fairly strong though. Turmeric is good for your health, especially with it containing anti-inflammatory properties. Only con is you only get 200 grams for the current price being £6.95, which is quite pricey.

Turmeric has been a staple part of my diet for many years, used heavily in cooking and by daily supplement. I believe by now I can tell the difference between a good Turmeric and a high quality Turmeric and this is one of the best Turmeric's that I've ever had the pleasure of using. This Turmeric has great absorption and is perfect for use in any sourced, marinades and can also be used to fragrance rice. Turmeric can indeed be used to make tea, smoothies and other drinks, but it can also be used in a wide number of cooking meals that doesn't have to relate to a spicy dish. Added to mash potatoes its vibrant yellowed colour adds both visual and flavour enhancements. The price is very good too for just under £7 you receive 200g of high quality Turmeric. My only complaint is the packaging being plastic and hope that one day manufacturers will make plastics a thing of the past.

☑️ As described and as advertised. ☑️ Well packaged and well presented in a waterproof branded pouch. ☑️ Good security seal - we were unable to open without ripping/cutting off the top of the pouch. ☑️Good press seal to reseal after opening and as this stains we didn't want to decant. ☑️ Clear and easy to read dosage instruction, ingredients and other key information. ☑️ Not short dated as best before 2027. ☑️ Whilst we are unable to provide a meaningful quantitative assessment as to any benefits from taking this supplement, turmeric does have a good reputation as a good anti inflammatory and general health benefits. We can, however, confirm no adverse side effects like digestive discomfort or bloating etc. No complaints and no issues. This is more expensive than other turmeric but it is a double strength lakadong variety.

I love turmeric and use a lot of it, but I've only had this high-curcumin Lakadong turmeric once before. I use it for cooking with, but also sometimes to make Jamu, a drink I first had in Bali. It's best made with fresh turmeric and fresh ginger, but powdered will work: I let the powder soak in some hot water to rehydrate before use. But even when only adding to curries, why not have the higher-curcumin variety and get the full benefits? This turmeric powder is very nice - a good powder, smells lovely and looks great. I tested it out making some Golden milk using coconut milk, turmeric, cinnamon and pepper, with a splash of lime and a little palm sugar to sweeten it. Lovely alternative hot drink, and surprisingly energising! Spices degrade when exposed to heat and light, so I decant them into opaque jars kept in a cool place - this is a reasonable quantity so I'll need to keep it for a few weeks. Really pleased with this, and will buy more. Recommended!

I spend quite a bit of time in the kitchen myself so i keep on top of our all supplies and spices, flavourings etc, and i do like to use tumeric powder for lots of indian dishes i make and also find it beneficial in scrambled eggs The sealable bag has a long expiry date on it and its very aromatic when the bag is opened, and with this spice, very vibrant and colourful. Its a good size compared to a glass bottle which is around 40g, so its going to last a while. Whether the concept of double strength is something you can taste, i am not sure or really qualified to say, it's not made any dishes overpowered with flavour, but of course the links to the health benefits are for the body, not the taste buds. Overall very happy. It seems to disolve very quickly
