Review: Fantastic natural option - I was skeptical but now I'm a believer. Will be using for life. Review: Winter is specifically harsh because the moisture just gets sucked out of our apartment as soon as they switch ... - I've been having a lot of issues with my scalp lately, which I had believed to been tied to the make-up of DevaCurl/Nexxus/Main'nTail. My hair was not chemically treated, I use heat only 2-3 times per year. Winter is specifically harsh because the moisture just gets sucked out of our apartment as soon as they switch the boiler from a/c to heat. I had been trying Avalon Organics for about 6-7 months now with no luck. Same issues, itchy and sore scalp with lots of head aches. I've been at my wit's end for a long time now and decided to give Living Libations a try after finding it on GoodGuide - I know some things are sponsored but its better than nothing. I've only had this shampoo long enough to shower twice, but things are already looking up. So now I wash with the shampoo once every 6 days, co-wash the other days, and let avocado sit in 5-10 minutes the day before shampooing. CON: The only con at the moment is the price, I know its slightly cheaper directly through Living Libations depending on how much you pay for shipping. I'm not 100% certain if the price is going to deter me from continuing to purchase, if it did I'd be making my own shampoo/conditioner - I'm already making my own face wash/scrub on top of 100 other things sooo we'll see.

Yes. Get it!
Wow. It's amazing and better than anticipated. Don't let the consistency fool you. Not kidding one wash and my hair feels clean and healthy like when you leave the salon. I don't know why I am surprised because LL has the best products!

Great Scent, Not Much Value
It pains me to write this because I wanted to like this product and thought it would be the answer to my scalp imbalances! For the price, the bottle is about twice the size of a travel sized bottle of shampoo -I thought this would be the case but when it came I was shocked at how small it actually was. I splurged because I was excited about the product. A lot of people said that a little bit goes a long way and that's how they justified the outrageous price per ounce. Note, that my hair is thin and often oily due to hormone/thyroid disorder and when I applied the product it took about 3-4 quarter sized amounts just to get it to lather even a little bit. I will say the smell is lovely, but the most disappointing part is that my hair was oily again the next day. This may just be my hair type but if you have a similar scalp this review is for you. I'm interested to see how my scalp adjusts when I finish the bottle but this shampoo is just totally not worth it for the price point and mediocre product performance.

I noticed it does suds up well unlike other organic shampoos - and it's easy to wash out of your hair
This shampoo is unlike any other organic/natural shampoo I've tried. Pros: it definitely cleans your hair, I noticed it does suds up well unlike other organic shampoos - and it's easy to wash out of your hair. Cons: I noticed that it dried my scalp out and left me with dandruff. Other things: it has a very strong smell, which is a pro or a con depending if you actually like the smell. I don't mind the smell, and it does linger in your hair even after drying. Over all, if it wasn't for the lack of hydrating I'd give it a 4 or 5. But I'll be sticking with my Calia's Organic Shampoo!
