Save your money mate, these tanks are complete rubbish, not enough filtration, poor build quality and within 4 months it was leaking slightly so much so that finding the point that it was leaking from was nigh-on impossible, everything about this set up is cheap nasty poorly constructed rubbish.

No, not silly at all! you are right to consider the weight. There should be no problem at all as long as you place the aquarium against along a load bearing wall and accross the under floor stutts to spread and suppoer the weight. Thanks for asking. Debbie
