These work 100% and are awesome! Our bedroom is above the garage, its always either too hot or too cold. Its summer now and we easily installed two vents in our room and definitely notice a significant difference. Our room is pretty big and has a vaulted ceiling so it has a lot of air volume, I was surprised at how quickly things cooled down The other day was 73° so we had the windows open and turned these off. The next day was a steamer and we forgot to turn them back on and it was nasty warm in our room. Turned these puppies on and within a few hours our room was noticeably cooler. Can't wait to see how it works when the heat is on!

This thing works great. Cooling the room better. It looks good too.

#1 it’s quiet, #2 it does what it’s supposed to do pulls air from the farthest from the furnace to what used to be the coldest room in the winter, will see how it works in the summer to see if cools the same for the hottest part of the summer.

I like this very much my son‘s room used to stay warm and not cool as the rest of the house did now his room stays comfortable all day long. It’s not very noisy. Installation was very easy and I like the different settings on the fan speed. I feel this was a good value and I would order again if needed. He’s only been using this for a short time so I cannot really speak on the quality.

These fans are so loud at max fan speed. I read a max of around 53 decibels. That is the sound of a hairdryer constantly running in the background. I can't slow down the fans, Otherwise the airflow within my workspace would suffer. so I replaced the fans with quieter ones. it turns out that these fans are not special. they are DC controlled 80mm computer fans. So by splicing in noctua fans into the original leads, the fans are now so quiet that you cannot hear them at maximum speed. Obviously the airflow has been cut in half and I cannot displace the same amount of air in an hour as with the old fans. But these are advertised to be QUIET. A hairdryer blowing air 2 feet away is not quiet. Its clearly not and the seller should not advertise that its QUIET. Other than that, it was easy to install. looks okay., and functions as it should. Boosting airflow in rooms that do not have much. Overall, if you are expecting more like a whisper (31 decibels) for these fans, don't bother. the lowest is around the volume of a coversation with no shouting (41 decibles ), to a hair dryer (53 decibels). You need to replace those fans. Thankfully, the process is simple with a soldering iron and a few hours. but for those who want a quiet, all in one solution, go with a different seller.

I’ve only used one of the two I bought. The one I had been using was doing well: it had great air flow, the cool/warm options seem to work well, the fan speeds were great and it wasn’t too noisy. That was until the other day when two of the three buttons completely stopped working. They can’t be pressed at all. I even tried using a screwdriver for leverage in case they were stuck. No dice. The other button can be pressed but it doesn’t do anything. For the length it worked the value for the cost wasn’t worth it. I also wasn’t a huge fan of the cord system as it was a little awkward. If I could still return it I would.

This did wonders in my upper bedroom to improve ac ventilation. The ac whole house unit just doesnt reach the upper 4th floor of my home and this works to achieve it.

It's not quiet. Temperature doesn't work properly.

Very good product! We use it to pull air from our wood heater in the basement, we have tried a couple of other brands, but they do not rate like this one. Simple to use, very well built, and it moves a lot of air. We do not use it in a vent, but i can see how un-obstructive it would be to the air coming from the HVAC Large opening for the air to pass through, and runs very quietly compared to the others we have. We will be replacing the other brands with this one. :)

The device is of good quality and works as expected according to the user manual (strongly suggest everyone to get familiar before using). The primary purpose was to improve air flow into a room during both heating and cooling seasons. Unfortunately, I cannot detect any perceptible or statistical effect of using the device: the room temperature was continuously recorded from a digital thermometer but it did not show any difference compared to not using the device.

Worked great for less than a week. Then it broke. I’m pretty handy, there is no way for me to fix this. I ordered a replacement. Hoping this was just a lemon. It’s not “quiet” you can absolutely hear it, I did have it on the highest setting though but you will hear it.

Bought this to boost airflow in bedroom. It’s farthest room from air handler. It works good. It comes on and off based on temperatures you set. Kinda wish it would just come on when air flow is sensed.
