B24 Liberator (PC DVD)

I've recently bought this aircraft for my FSX hangar. Based on an earlier review I was reluctant, but this was totally unnecessary. The aircraft flies well, and it looks and sounds great. It does take off only slowly when it's fully loaded, so you may need a long runway.I have no way of comparing the aircraft to a real life one, so I'll stick to the FSX version. It looks great from the outside, and it compares well to pictures taken from real ones I've checked in my aviation books. The 3D cockpit also looks nice, and I was able to operate the controls I've tried with the mouse.The sound is good. Stationary and from the outside the engines rattle nicely, and when I throttle up they start to roar. They sound a bit different from different angles. Inside the aircraft they also sound very nicely indeed.Flying the aircraft is fairly easy, you just have to be careful not to make violent manoeuvres with it. Gently getting airborne, gentle climbs, and easy descents and it will fly nicely.Overall I'm very glad with this addition to the fleet. It probably deserves somewhere between four and five stars, but to offset the bad initial score this product received I've given it five.

Thought this aircraft would be good to fly, I have tried everything to make it take off but to no avail. Will not lift of the ground.Not worth the money, unless I am doing something wrong.I am not a child I am 64years old and can not fly the thing.

Loaded ok with no problems in windows 7and flight sim gold.{just a pity you can`t drop bombs or fire the guns] but this is a sim and not a shoot `em up.
