This is a great shampoo for our mini poodle. His hair is so thick & curly, and by the time his weekly bath rolls around he’s beginning to smell like a little dog lol we also have a Malshi, she’s never stunk. Our little baby boy though has a different smell about him. I don’t know if it’s the poodle breed, being a boy, not sure. They never go outside unless we r taking them to the vet, we wipe him even after every time he pees, it’s still different than our Malshi. We tried several shampoos, I will say this shampoo cuts through the odor & helps him hold up better than any other we have tried. The lady that cuts their nails recommend it, says that’s what she uses when bathing & grooming. Very easy to use, lathers good, great light fresh citrus scent, no skin irritation, great shampoo. As far as detangling, we do use a conditioner to help with that, we need all the help we can get with his hair. But overall I’m very pleased with this product for both of our fur babies and will continue to buy!

I have used this shampoo on my dogs for quite a few years. It smells very fresh and clean just like the name says. The scent is very agreeable, and I say this as someone who usually has a bad reaction to most scented products. No heavy perfume or other smells. Just a lingering fresh, clean scent. It creates a luxurious lather, and my dog loves to have it massaged into her coat. My dog actually looks forward to her bath. I need only take out the towels and the shampoo and point to the bathtub for her to jump in on her volition. Of course, that is mainly due to her fantastic personality and amazing intelligence, but I think if she found the shampoo unpleasant for any reason, she would be reluctant to jump into the tub. My dog will lick at the lather a bit, and I tell her not to lick, but the tiny bit she digests each time she is bathed has never made her stick, so I venture to say that this shampoo is pretty safe. As a matter of common sense, however, try not to let your dog lick the lather, but rest assured if your dog licks a little bit of it, s/he probably will not get sick. This shampoo cleans well but is still mild. I used to bathe my dog once a week in order to defend my carpet from my dog's body oils, and this shampoo never dried out her skin. Now that I no longer have carpet in my house, I bath her every four weeks. The fresh clean scent lasts well if she does not go outside to play fetch, but that would be true of any pet shampoo. Playing outside and lying in the grass will make the scent diminish sooner, but that is not the shampoo's fault. If your dog is indoors almost 24/7, then you can count on the scent lasting a couple of weeks. There used to be a matching spray "cologne," but I do not know if it is still available. I still have a can of it to use in case she is past due for her bath, and I have guests coming over. The "cologne" smells wonderful, too, but I very seldom use it because anything sprayed onto a dog's coat will naturally attract dirt. Therefore, I use the cologne only if really needed in a pinch to freshen up her coat. I used to purchase this shampoo at Petsmart, but Petsmart no longer carries it, so I was purchasing it at Petco instead. Then, I found it on Amazon for $3 less than Petco's price. I was thrilled to find it on Amazon for less. I added two bottles of it to my cart, and because my total order was in excess of $35, I received free shipping! The order arrived very quickly, and each bottle of shampoo was sealed inside of a plastic bag in order to obviate a possible mess should the caps come open. I am very happy with the quality of this shampoo, with Amazon's price and free shipping (if my order is over $35), and the great packing and fast shipping. This is so much more convenient than going to Petco to purchase it, and at a savings of $3 per bottle, buying it through Amazon is a no-brainer. Thank you Amazon for such a great deal on a product I love and use regularly! I will buy it from Amazon from now on!

This stuff is amazing! It's what I used as a groomer, along with the conditioner, and what the grooming shop used I worked at over 20 years ago! It's been around for a while, and the quality has never wained. It's gentle, and the scent is heavenly! It's thick, so it doesn't just pour out when dispensing, but not so thick it's hard to get out of the bottle. The scent easily lasts over a week if your dogs spend a lot of time outdoors, even longer if you have dogs that don't spend as much time outside. It's been my go to for well over 20 years. I recommend this enough for anyone who has dogs and/or cats. The conditioner is just as amazing. Doesn't leave the coat greasy, and the scent is amazing, and lasts even longer when used in conjunction with the shampoo.

Dog smells fresh and clean days later. Very nice product.

This is the only shampoo I’ll use on my dog. After a bath she smells sooo good and it lasts for several days. The shampoo lathers up quickly and rinses out easily, too. I’ve used it over 26 years. Even tried the expensive Organic Lavender recently. It was so light that there was not even a scent when we finished. Guess it will work as Ti-D-Bowl for a while.

Nice but strong scent and fur was soft and clean after bath. It’s a good stock shampoo.

This is the only shampoo I've found that truly takes all that dog smell out of my two dogs' fur. One is a long-haired Australian Shepherd mix and the other is a shorter-haired Australia Shepherd mix, and both smell like dogs big time after being outside. 😂 But this shampoo makes them smell really good, no dog smell left. And the scent stays for a while, so they don't start smelling again for a week or two. It's a great product, it suds up great and is easy to rinse out. The only dog shampoo I use.

I’m always hesitant about giving reviews, this is an exception. When buying something online, I always like to read reviews from people who have already bought and actually used the product. And I am cautious about the reviews. On this particular product, there was a review that received 118 “Likes” so I figured I would try it. The results now have 119 if not more because this one is a believer of this product. My first time using this product and brand and I was skeptical but after washing my fur baby with this product, I can say thumbs up to whoever posted that review. My fur baby’s fur feels so nice and smells very nice and made his white fur brighter like when the first time I brought him home as an 8 weeks old. I would highly recommend this product. If they want a spokesperson, I would be a great candidate for it.

I love the fresh clean scent! The coat on my dog comes out so soft. The shampoo rinses out really clean and doesn't leave any residue. I buy this all the time.

Yo compré el shampoo para mis gatos, les funciona de maravilla, huele rico, les deja el pelo suave, fresco y por días, Lo único "malo" es que cuando lo ocupo debo ponerme guantes porque en mi caso, la primera vez que lo usé me dejó una sensación de quemazón y picor en las palmas de las manos, pero de ahí en fuera a mis gatos no les hizo daño, no les irrita sus ojos ni nada, funciona muy bien, les saca rápido la mugre.

The shampoo is excellent. A small drop is all that is required to produce a rich lather. The scent is very pleasant and lasts for a few days. I hope the dogs enjoy it as much as I do! Buying direct saves money and delivery us surprisingly fast. I recommend the product and the supplier.
