Meets the expectation !!
I think this book does preach you right stuff as well as try to train your mind since weight loss is more of a mind game and control on your unfair urges . Good indian diet and calory in calory out well explained.Only thing which I could suggest is that probably author could straight come to the point instead of explaining his journey and some more detail which may not relevant.

This is the only one book that is really a Bible of weight loss in most scientific way explained .And the style of explaining the subject displays the calibre and knowledge of a person in this field for last 35 years. I lost nearly 5.5 kgs in lockdown period after following his instructions strictly and gained lot of confidence

Good but nothing new..
I had very high expectations from this book because The author is a Doctor & a Researcher..I expected at least some new insights/information...but there is none.Summary:The misconceptions about the weight loss In IndiaThe importance of proteinsweight loss =Eat less and spend more caloriesTrack your progress.That’s all.The book is underwhelming at the best.

Awesome book
This is not a book , but its more like a knowledgeable friend giving You the correct advise .Many myths are broken in this book , which helps a lot .We usually get carried away by wrong advise so a proper scientific advise is most welcome .Plus we all have seen Aamir khan transform , now we know THEMAN behind the man .HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR READING AND GIFTING

The reason that I bought this book is because it meets my requirements, as I am an Indian and a vegetarian.Dr. Nikihl has summarized 35 years of research in this book. It is very well written and I enjoyed reading every bit of it. The book is full of tips that anyone can start using right away. It contains clever tips on how to eat during festivals and parties, which is huge if you belong to Indian culture.Most importantly Dr. Nikhil broke lots of myths that I had about diet and explained why they existed in the first place.I found this book very useful and will hope Dr. Nikhil keeps on updating this book with current research from time to time.
