Please don't buy this item. We cannot press the dough and increase the size of the chappathi and the dough is slipping out when we are pressing. Also the result is so bad, the chapathi is not cooked from the inside and it is so hard like an arrowroot biscuit.Furthermore, the quality of the product is so cheap and it's not worthy for the price. I tried to eat the chappathi and I felt the taste is different when compared with the chapathi cooked in the traditional way. I think the material used for non sticky part is burning with the chappathi when it is cooked. So friends don't purchase this product. I personally recommend all of you to buy a quality chappathi press instead of this product.

This is the first time I am using a roti maker. The first time I tried making rotis in this roti maker, it was a complete dud. Not a single roti could be made. I thought the roti maker is defective and thought about initiating a return to amazon. However the next day I tried giving it another try and this time after going through online tutorial videos in youtube and on the demo CD provided with the roti maker and voila two sucessful rotis made in the second day morning although neither puffed and they were a little hard. Finally, second day evening finally made soft puffed rotis through the roti maker. So basically, this needs a little know how and practise and it works good. Particularly if you are mostly a rice eater and making rotis isn't an expertise. Cons The green light gets turned on at times while making the rotis indicating that the machine is heating up because its temperature got down. This is inconvenient when the roti is already on the roti maker. Tips Make the dough soft. The dough balls should be adequately sized. The pressing part is the most important as it gives the thickness to the roti and if it is perfect the roti will turn out good. Overall, a good product.

It does the job, we did manage to make soft rotis successfully. However getting the dough right is paramount. The cable is of extremely poor quality- the cable melted when it came into touch with the hot surface of the roti maker for a few seconds after which I felt unsafe to use the product.

It is useless product not make roti proper

I was having some issues with this roti maker in the beginning (I have used other roti makers before) this was my first time with prestige roti maker. It's really good, let me tell u if u are buying for roti then it's a little tricky. I use it for flatten the parathas and while making multi grain roti for my family. It's convenient quick and u dont get a layer of layer of powder wala atta when u flatten it with roti maker then I cook in on my tawa. It's a good product. Thanks. A happy customer!

I had used this product Prestige Roti Maker for less than 4monthsv& it is not heating properly The rotis are remaining half-cooked Seems there is some fault in the heating element

I finally returned the roti maker and got my full refund. Tried it for 6 consecutive days, but only succeeded in making one proper Chapatti. It was hectic to knead so soft dough, then spend double the time to make Chapattis in that machine. Then let it cool down for over 30mins before cleaning it. Plus the rotis wont remain soft for too long even if u succeed in making one properly. Its more convenient and easier to make Chapattis using the traditional method of Tawa. Final Verdict : DO NOT BUY. TOTAL FAILURE.

The handle for pressing is defective in the roti maker. It is a bit tilted and when i press it gives me a roti more thick from one end and completely distorted from the other end. If the seller thinks that they can send defective articles to international locations, Then you are sadly mistaken. Because one review can make a lot of difference. Complete waste of 85 EUR.

The product came without CE marking, with an Indian plug, completely useless for UK. Very unprofessional seller, the package was shipped from UK, but they wanted me to return it to india, and refused to accept that. Would never buy from them again, unfortunately just kept the faulty product as shipping it to india would have cost a fortune and I do not trust I would get any money back after paying that hefty postage. Putting this long winded review here in the hope that it may help someone else from getting duped.

I felt like I got an used product, the nonstick plates have scratches on the both sides.

Waste money and does not work in Canadian system , my wife bought it by mistake and it was shipped from india with a very expensive shipping cost , its real price does not exceed 30 dollars. I do not recommended to bay from this place any more
