I installed this saltwater pool coordinator system on our chlorine pool. At our previous house, we had a saltwater pool but I hadn't gotten around to converting the pool at our new house until now. Our existing pool had an inline chlorinator where you could drop tabs into it. Moved it from the plumbing and installed the salt chlorine generator in its place. Installation is pretty straightforward, I did have to have an electrician put in a new outlet for power but the plumbing itself is super easy if you have even the slightest mechanical inclinations. I do feel like the instructions for installation and use were pretty thin but once you get the app downloaded and connected it's easy enough to get things figured out. It took a few days after getting this set up and adding salt to the pool to get the chlorine levels even. It has only been in use for about two weeks now but so far it is doing a great job.

I ordered this Bonvoisin Salt Water Pool Chlorinator System towards the end of the swimming season. We usually keep our pool running year-round, but we must drain it for some repairs. We installed it to replace our existing SWG, which needed new titanium cells. We have been using this for a few weeks, and it has maintained the chlorine levels perfectly. I will not be able to give a better assessment until we put the pool back in service.The installation was straightforward, and the setup was not complicated. However, if this was our first installation, we might have had issues following the user manual. Our previous SWGs didn't have the App, so it was convenient when we were away from home. Since we are avid RVers, it's nice being able to adjust its operation parameters from afar. Suppose our remote pool chemical tester alerts us to chlorine levels outside our parameters. In that case, we can easily change the chlorine output. It requires a 2.4 GHz WiFi connection, which we already have.Conclusion: Why spend a thousand bucks on an SWG when this one costs less than the replacement cells for our previous SWG?
