Can it be placed in a room while th room is being used

It is effective when kept in closets and cupboards which are normally closed and has limited air volumes. It will hardly have any effect if you are looking at keeping the entire room dry .

Can we use in wash room,as wall of my wash room has seepage

Wash rooms I guess is always full of moisture. So it shouldn’t help. Basically it prevents humid atmosphere from damaging your personal belongings from humid climate. Helpful especially during monsoon.

Is it good for damn bedroom walls?

Yes,I actually bought the refilling boxes and depending on how humid your rooms are and IF you leave your windows open,it can last for quite a while,but if you let the damp in then it will not last long.

Is it that the white balls collects first in the lower compartment and then we can see the water/moisture collected?

I don't understand the question. The white balls are present in upper compartment. They start absorbing moisture and converting it into water which is collected in lower compartment. Slowly, the white balls disintegrate totally and the lower compartment gets filled with water. This happens depending on the level of humidity in the environment. In my home, it happens within a month during monsoon season when there is too much moisture in the air but in summer the same box lasts 2-3 months easily. I do not see white balls going in lower compartment at all.
