This Big Joe classic beanbag is the perfect size for my five-year-old grandson. He absolutely loves it. He can carry it around by the handle, and sit or lay on it. It is very comfortable, and the bright blue color is pretty. It is made with a very durable material, and should hold up to a boy’s rugged use. It arrived in the box very full of pellets, but has room for more if you would like. It is a great value, and I would recommend it to anyone.

Updated - 09/15 - I found out Big Joe has a one year Warranty on their products. I filled out a form with pictures and proof of purchase and they are sending me 4 replacement bean bag chairs for my classroom. I am impressed with the customer service. Updated 09/11 - all 4 of the Big Joe Black Bean Bags chairs I purchased in November of 2023 have ripped out on the bottom seams. They are not able to be repaired due to the fraying of the fabric. I am very disappointed they did not even last a year (they were only used in my classroom reading area for 6 months).

Big Joe beanbags are amazing. I got this for a gift waited to open it so I could put it in a gift bag should’ve done that way before. I unfortunately got the ONE with a little damage. But definitely is still a quality item. Can’t wait to get the replacement.! Only commenting so everybody knows to check their item because I probably wouldn’t have if I wasn’t putting it in a gift bag!

Perfect old style bean bag Wish it had a removable out part to wash

Very cute and great size for a child but it has some problems. The kids are small and don't weigh much, but the beans inside still got squished and the chair got very flat like a floor pillow. It was kept stationary and not moved around but the seams started to fray and come apart. I opted to refill it will strips of old clothes that were too ratty to donate and I got out the upholstery thread and needle and repaired it, so it is still in use and very well loved by the kids. The cloth strips actually helped give it some heft and weight to keep it from slipping around so much, so I accidentally found an improvement. The remaining beans shift to the top of the bag above the heavier cloth strips, so you get a squishy soft seat with a more sturdy base! Wish it didn't need so much tender love and care to keep in operation, but it is what it is. If you're willing to do the same amount of repair and upkeep then it's not bad. The double zipper that keeps the beans in is well-designed and more sturdily constructed. Hasn't ripped, hard to open and close (as it should be, don't want curious kids breaking in and spilling beans everywhere) so I am very happy with that.

I recently visited with family. It made me smile to see the beanbag in the living room. It is substantial. Good quality fabric and stuffing is just right! Grandson is happy.

My 3 year old adores this product. It has helped him to calm down and read books at bedtime. He has also taken to running and leaping on it, and so far it has held up (it's been about 2 weeks). It's small, but I can sit in it comfortably too (not beside my son, though).

I purchased two of these, one for each of my daughters and they love them. I did find that they were both very different upon arrival. One almost seems like it was used and then returned because it is broken in and very soft. The second one I received is very firm and almost unusable. But they are both well made and they are very durable. I have wiped them down after a few snacks have been enjoyed in them, and they do wipe clean.
