Great price and fantastic product, best for beginners.
This is the best in class for beginners. I have owned both Yamaha and Casio is past. Pros: - Cheapest Keyboard with Touch sensitivity and MIDI. - Good build quality. - Great Piano sounds. - Can run on AA batteries. Cons: - Low volume speakers (Yamaha equivalent as same low volume speaker so nothing to complaint to be true but still everyone should be aware) - Power adapter sent along with the box was not original, but nothing to complain as the market price with original adapter is 1000k expensive that this. - No light on keyboard display. Someone living in remote areas where is problem of electricity for long hours, this won't be the right choice as you will run this most of the time on AA batteries. Opt for Yamaha PSR - e363 then. - Does not have Indian instruments, most of the other Models are prefixed with "IN" in their model number stating those are Indian edition but this one does not have any Indian instrument in specific, like Harmonium etc.

Best for beginners
I am absolutely thrilled with my Casio piano! This keyboard has exceeded my expectations in every way. The sound quality is fantastic, and the weighted keys feel just like a traditional piano. The variety of voices and features make it perfect for players of all levels. I also appreciate the headphone output, allowing me to practice quietly. The build quality is solid, and it's very easy to use. Overall, it's a great value for the price, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase! .

Awesome Keyboard!!!
I am a rookie & wanted to learn to play keyboard. I researched a lot before buying this one so... Casio Vs Yamaha If you are a beginner & care more about functions than sound quality , go with Casio. If you want a keyboard with louder & good quality speakers for performance , go with Yamaha. Note : Please don't buy Yamaha keyboards from on-line retailers as there is some sort of warranty issue. In case of Casio , you can buy online but there is an issue of not receiving adapters for many customers so choose your seller carefully. I would recommend Crystalarc Lifestyle as they are authorized Casio sellers & I received an official Casio adapter with my keyboard. Buy CTK 3500 if 1. You want touch response 2. You want USB-B port to connect your pc 3. You want Chordana Play connectivity 4. You want a pitch control wheel Now about the keyboard Speakers : I found them really nice & loud enough for personal use.. not much for performance though Keys : Really soft & nice to feel Functions : There are a lot of functions & once you read the manual , it is becomes easy to use There is an inbuilt step lesson teaching function which is similar to Chordana but way more awesome About Chordana App : To be frank I have used the app & I didn't find it much helpful. Even after connecting the app didn't recognize my keyboard keys in the step lesson mode.. anyway still you can use the app to transfer songs to the keyboard itself which is way more useful. Must buy accessories for beginners : 1. Dust Cover 2. Travel Cover 3. Usb A-B cable 4. Note Stickers If you interested in buying Casio keyboards & don't mind paying online then I would suggest you to buy from casioshopindia.in

5 year old loves her new entry level touch sensitive keyboard!
Works as described. Better price here on Amazon vs Toys r US. This model comes with the Dance music songs. Thought it would be cool, but they are meh. Dont think we would ever use those. I am glad this comes with the touch sensitive keys though. The harder you hit the keys, the louder the sound. In short, our 5 year old loves practicing on it. Comes with wall power adapter. Book or sheet music holder doesn't hold smaller items, and needs a redesign. Not bad for an entry level keyboard, with touch sensitive keys. We are very happy with it.

As good as it gets (for this price)
Was looking for a cheap portable piano for my dorm, and this is a great purchase so far for someone who hasn't touched one since he was a child. It's (relatively) firmly built, has decent (though not amazing) sound quality and speakers, and is pretty light at 6-7 pounds. There's plenty of tones to work with, though it's not by any means all inclusive (and I tend to stick with piano for the most part anyway). On top of that, there's a pitch bender (which I use occasionally), 4 step touch sensitivity, a metronome (which is slightly loud and which I never use), and a number of songs banked to start learning (which I also never use). The volume control has a noticeable gap in between a couple of increments (that is to say, it goes from slightly too soft to slightly too loud), and the display is good enough, though the notes/keys pressed are a little hard to read without a light directly over it. It does also need occasional wiping with a wet cloth/paper towel (like every 5 times I use it or so), and a couple of keys can be a bit squeaky depending on the angle at which I mash on them, but like I said, for CDN170 (plus 40 for a stand and 22 for a sustain pedal), this is a great practice/composing instrument.

Great 61 keyboard
I was looking for a small keyboard to use in my office. I have a full-sized keyboard that I use in our great room, but there are times that I would like to have a computer next to the keyboard while working on and documenting music for church keyboards. I started out looking for cheap keyboards, but knew that I would never be happy unless it had touch response. This keyboard has been perfect for what I need. It is also small enough that if needed, it can easily taken along. Notes of my use: * I have used piano, organ and strings tones. They are not exact, but really much more than expected! * I have connected a sustain pedal, which works well for me. * I have had no problems with polyphony on the keyboard. * I have no use for all of the rhythm, song banks, dance, or lessons. I have not even turned them on. * Although I probably will use the midi capabilities, I have not attempted its use.
