Good worthy , buy with out doubt,

So many experts have written so many positive and negative things regarding this shuttle. Here is my beginner level key points, 1. It feels much lighter than Mavis 350/500. 2. Green cap model seems really slow but not bad at all. Actually green is recommended during winter play and blue for summer (I have not found any red one). 3. The plastic skirt is very soft. Positive side is it lasts really long. 3 days of super intensive play (2.5 hr) and the bottom plastic part is rotating now but it is still very playable and no damage to the skirt observed. Of course if you hit too much in the skirt and poor play style then the scenario might be different. Now since the skirt is very soft if you smash hard, the shuttle will travel like a bullet and many times you cannot see it properly for a good defense. Unlike the better models like Mavis 500 which slows much faster during a smash. Definitely these two are not even close to a standard speed 77 feather shuttle during smash. 4. It is good for budget oriented players but not recommended for those who want to move upwards from beginner level.

I’ve used the Yonex Mavis 10 shuttlecock for a while and found it to be quite durable with decent build quality. It holds up well over multiple games, making it a good value for money. However, the accuracy isn’t the best — the flight can be a bit inconsistent — and it tends to be slightly faster than expected. Still, for casual or practice sessions, it’s a solid budget-friendly option.

Good for intermediate players ,fast and sturdy

Very good quality birdie, can feel the difference in hand and when it contacts the racket. Flight and drop of this during play is very consistent vs other plastic and feather based I have and have played with. Can see why they command a premium. This is rated as a 'slow' speed birdie and that seems to be true, no matter how hard your swinging the speed feels very controlled. Amazon had this at a great price so was worth the effort to pick this up.
