Pros:- medium size easy portability, magnetic 🧲 board,good for home, School college. Weight around 900-1kg light weight. 💚 Green cushion slot for storing pawns so no damage. Useful to play in compact space like room on bed,table,sofa,desk.good for children & adults below 25 age. Cons:- if u want to learn chess & become best chess player. Go for 18 inch wooden or vinyl sheet it gives better clarity,u will become better player. <This 12" has small rook pawns like 2cm. King is abt 5.5cm i.e good for 16yr old. And it doesn't have border numbering & alphabets. "If u are young & want to play chess at home then buy this,get it 400₹ cheap on flpkart. But if u want to deeply learn chess & become best player go for 18 inch wooden or vinyl "

Overall the Chess Board Looks Premium andd Royal. the Peices are well polished and Looks clean though.I ordered 16×16 inch chess board Andd I think it's Value for money but there were some Issues I found . 1. one Of the Lock was missing and second lock was Dislocated and Broken. one of the Pawn's edge was broken 2. Board was A little unsymmetrical . it is not been shown in the picture I provided but it was . 3. According to 3000 price bracket there should be good quality hinges And Locks. 4. Some Magnetic peices have a strong Magnets and some of them wall after folding it . I order it and It come with these defects so I placed a Replacement order Instead of refund order because ai over this chess it literally feels Premium board. NOTE- the colour shown on Amazon Is a little bit dull but not that much It's Good not that much shining but not too much dull It gives you a perfect wooden chess board feel . And if I go for it so .. Received two white kings instead of one white and one dark. Magnet quality also not good it can easily slip the board when a liitle moment also, finally the board when it open little bend is there in middle.. Not completely flat surface.

I was a little nervous about ordering this set, as Amazon said it was a frequently returned item. I don't know what the reason for that could be, but the set I received is flawless. It is solid wood throughout, and the playing surface is made up of individual squares of wood veneer (some boards I have seen just have a single piece of wood with dyed or painted squares). Mine is the 7x7 model, and is kept closed by magnets rather than a metal latch. I think this is better, since it gives a cleaner look, and the magnets are plenty strong enough to keep it closed. The overall quality of workmanship is excellent, with smooth transitions between the two halves of the board in both open and closed positions. The chessmen themselves are very nicely made considering their small size. They are satisfyingly proportioned and easy to tell apart from each other. The magnets felt a little weak at first, but they proved to be strong enough to hold even the heavier pieces in place, even when the board was held sideways or inverted. Stronger magnets may actually be a bad thing, because it might cause the pieces to be attracted to one another and cause problems. All in all, I don't have a single bad thing to say about this set. It's an absolute bargain for the price, and I'm thinking of buying some of the other sizes. It would make an excellent gift.

I like the quality of the board, the pieces the spare queens and the foam cutouts for the pieces. I like having checkers pieces as well. I like the fast delivery. I dont.like.beo g asked to grade every single thing I buy from Amazon

A nice quality chess set. Bought it for our 9 year old grandson who spent a lot of time playing with it over the Christmas holidays. Highly recommend this product

I purchased 10, 12, 14 & 16 inch boards to see which I liked the most. I ended up keeping the 14x14 and returning the rest. I purchased this to have a travel set that I could bring with me to set up at coffee shops or parks to play with friends. I found the 14x14 to be the best in terms of compactness and ability to travel with while also maintaining some integrity of what a real chess board and pieces should feel like. I really love the packing of the pieces within the foam under the board. Other sets I found the pieces would not actually sit in their molding and would become damaged while transporting. The board itself looks beautiful with a nice gloss finish and the pieces are a nice wood that don’t seem cheap. Honestly was very impressed overall with the quality of it especially for a travel set. Something to note is all sizes 12x12 and under do not have a latch on the side for the pieces. I didn’t keep these sizes long enough to see if this would be a problem but 14 & 16 inch models do have that latch. Moving down from 14 to 12 the pieces are noticeable smaller. Would be nice for really tight spaces but I’ve found that even smaller coffee tables are able to for the 14inch model. Don’t think you can go wrong with any of these options just wanted to give the feedback having bought all of them.
