Pay attention to the title
I've read about a quarter. Generally with books like this I don't gobble it up cover to cover right away. I guess I just expected strictly Islamic philosophy, it does say "of the Islamic world". It's more historical text, speaks of Judaism and early Christians, some about early Greek philosophers. As I progress it may be exactly what I wanted. I wanted what Muslims believe and why. It seems to round about get there. I'm not mad about it, keeping it. Just figured I would throw it out there that it isn't strictly about Islam.

Title misleading
The title didn't do justice to the book. The Islamic world is not monolithic and to attempt to establish its philosophy in a single book was wild goose chase. Nevertheless, I'll say it was an interesting.
