Hi. U shiuld kniw if ur changing radiator valves tbh! 😉 they would normally go on the primary flow. It depends on wether you have a 1 or 2 pipe system for your central heating. Its normal these days to have a 2 pipe system. A lot of valves are bi-directional so it shouldnt matter but as i said it may. Check the instructions and if it day they can be fitted on either pipe no worries. The other pipe is called the return pipe. Or if it states they are bi-direction then should be fine too.

Can these be used on a vertical radiator wall mounted?

We have fitted these to our new Vertical 7 Panel Radiator and it works very well in the limited space.. Bonus I can hook a Toweling Dressing gown on it & so keeps me warm too.
