highly appreciate environmentalism and care of the company
Delighted to praise this company for their respectful approach to the environment and to their customers (even though can't speak about any supposed health effects of the collagen powder itself, as I take this for general potential preventive and health-support purposes.) In the process of choosing, I went through several review articles on various collagen powders around the internet, then checked - literally, all listings - several pages of top search results from Amazon. Very few offered what I was looking for: responsibly sourced ingredients (such as grass-fed cows, free-range chicken, sustainably-caught fish), some sort of independent analysis or certification, no damned sweeteners of any type, no artificial flavors or tastes of any kind. This product happened to hit the set of expectations best, even though there is room for further enhancement with the analysis/certification part, beyond their current reported clinical research on the efficiency of their collagen. Being a mixture from three types of sources (chicken, beef, fish), it hits the best sourcing practices for all of the ingredients at once, according to the provided description. Furthermore, the list of ingredients is clear in its simplicity. As an added bonus, mentioning some special proprietary formula hints on the existence of R&D developments within the company. The cherry on top was that price per unit of mass was noticeably better than what nearly all of their (few) competitors offered, beating even a bunch of the "non-responsible" but heavily-advertized companies. There were more positive surprises with the arrival of the product. Initially, my examining the packaging found no mentions about the source of the ingredients. I was disappointed and considered returning. However, their customer service happened to contact me by their own initiative, to confirm the delivery and to ask about my initial experience. I used the chance to ask my sourcing questions. To my delight, the concerns were addressed in details and finished with links to their website with even more information. The website happened to emphasize the company's dedication to clean products and environmentalism in sourcing, showing a great overlap with my own views on the industry. The willingness of the customer service to meaningfully answer sourcing questions and address environmental concerns is especially rare and therefore appreciated. So here I am, gladly leaving the positive and detailed review. One other piece that I would want to know about the product itself: its solubility and taste. It dissolves fast, yet leaves small amount of unsoluble residual, which needs to be stirred to form suspension and get ingested. The taste is stronger than some flavorless collagen options offer, but is overall rather weak for me, so isn't a problem. I would expect it to completely disappear if added to coffee or, possibly, orange juice (sorry, don't drink either so no personal testing results.) All versions of fruits-/ veggies-/yoghurt-based smoothies that I've tried certainly cover it up completely.

Trying to get all around healthier
4/26/2020- I have never tried collagen before so I only gave this 3 stars because I just got it today and I will see how it works after 30 days and I will change my review. The packaging was as the advertisement showed. It arrived a day early and in perfect condition. I don't like the smell but it doesn't really have much of a taste. It dissolves easily into my coffee so I just add creamer and down it. I'm more interested in the benefits than flavor. It sits on my stomach very gently. An added benefit is that I take a lot of vitamins and herbal supplements that mixed with my medication tends to make my body amp up and get slight jitters and a nervous stomach. After the first time I tried the collagen with my meds,I noticed that the amping that I had to live with for so long was gone. My stomach felt great! That's huge in my book. I will return in 30 days unless something noteworthy happens before then. To future buyers, I wish you the best of luck finding what you're looking for! Ok,I just took the 2nd dose for the day in a mountain dew soda. It dissolves just fine but omg! It tasted and smelled worse than in my coffee and hazelnut creamer!!! My best and working advice to you is to chug it fast and then go gurgle with Listerine mouth wash and then you'll be golden! Frankly, I think everything you try is going to taste bad. If I were after a good taste I would have a milkshake but I'm after the benefits of the product so suck it up and gurgle ๐ 5/3/2020- Still using the product. The best way to take it that I have found is a fresh cup of coffee and either French vanilla or hazelnut coffeemate. My nails have stopped splitting and breaking as easily. I haven't noticed much with my hair but my skin is getting healthier. Alot of my scars are lightening up and it doesn't look so dry or "crepey". If you're under 35 year's old, you will still benefit taking this product but you're not going to notice anything because you're body is still producing a descent amount of collagen. The older you are like 40+ you will see a more significant benefit due to the lack of collagen that your body produces. I know that personally I benefit from it and will probably stay on collagen. 7/21/2020 I tried another product out of curiosity and hands down, this products benefits are ๐ฏ๐better.

Great taste, quality, & value
UPDATE: I absolutely love the new chocolate coconut flavor! It is delicious. It helps satisfy my chocolate cravings and my sweet tooth. It is so easy-just add to water and it mixes easily in a shaker cup. And only 70 calories! What a great way to get the awesome benefits of multi-collagen! I wrote this review previously for the unflavored Multi-collagen: I am happy with the quality and value of this product. I have tried similar products from other companies and I believe this product is of comparable quality but at a better price. It seems to help ease joint pain and improve range of motion. I have recommended this to others. I never do reviews but felt compelled to for this product.

Good Stuff
I appreciate the mix of collagens in this particular product and my nails and hair are growing like weeds, but compared to another brand I've used, this one just doesn't dissolve as easily. I put this in my coffee mug before starting my Keurig and almost always have to stir, stir, stir to remove the clumps. I will probably purchase again because of the particular blend of type I, II, III, V and X, but I do wish I didn't have to work so hard to get rid of the clumps every morning. After a few months of use, I do notice my joint pain has lessened as well! Bonus!

This is a good option because it takes collagen from multiple sources
Depending on how much meat you consume, you may or may not be getting enough collagen in your diet. Collagen is an important protein that is used to build several tissues in the body including skin, nails, and hair. This is a good option because it takes collagen from multiple sources, which means you are getting various types of collagen, each of which is important for different tissue types. I have read that it doesn't matter what kind of collagen you consume because your body will convert it to the type it needs anyway, but I don't know enough to be sure if this is true. If you are going to consume collagen peptides, you can hedge your bets with something like this product. One thing that sets this product apart from other collagens I looked into is the additional compounds within it. Bone broth is becoming in vogue as a health food because it contains collagen, but it has stuff in it that provides additional support for the body that isolated collagen won't have, such as chondroitin, glucosamine, and hyaluronic acid, all of which provide joint and tendon support. This collagen has additional compounds in it which help to make up some of that difference. It's probably the best alternative to bone broth powder I've seen. Another important difference between bone broth powder and collagen peptides is that bone broth powder has collagen still in the gelatin form, so it doesn't mix as easily in some cases. This stuff mixes pretty easy, and since it's in the peptide form, it's kind of pre-digested to some degree so your body should be able to absorb it more easily if you are in a gut-healing protocol and aren't sure whether other collagen-containing powders will be as well-absorbed.
