Purchased on 26 August, but I applied it for the first time on Diwali day.The colour is a very deep maroon and varies somewhat from that shown on site. If you see the colour in Maybelline's own site , it would still look different. The colour BERRY BOSSY is the only one in Indian market which has the same name in Maybelline website . The number in their site is 820. The lipstick sold in India is number 15. Maybelline website says there are 20 shades but I think in India you will get only 15.The sealed pack given by Amazon is exactly the same as sold in shops. The lipstick case was sealed with transparent casing with sticker which mentioned that product was Mfd by/for L'Oreal SA France imported in April 2017. I was a bit hesitant to use the lipstick because another sticker said that it was made in China . I enquired in Kolkata market but did not get a satisfactory reply about where the product was made France or China. Someone said the lipstick was made in France or USA, but the case was made in China and the lipstick was assembled there. Once you take off the seal to use the lipstick, the manufacturing/import details are removed . Application is easy, -just one stroke on the lips. You have to be careful while applying because if you do not pay attention, you will accidentally apply more and it would be messy. It feels creamy when you apply, but after application this feeling does not last. It is difficult to wash off at the end of the day . The best way is to soak a cotton ball in any edible oil from the kitchen and repeatedly rub the lips until it is removed. Compared to other brands, the colour of this lipstick is not unusual , removal is difficult,the lipstick can be applied in one stroke ,but it transfers to cups etc when you eat. However, enough remains on the lips even after wearing the colour for 08 hours. I have tested the other colours in the shops and find that the base note of most colours of Loaded Bolds is pink .Particularly Violet Plum is not a deep purple as it appears on site. I purchased BERRY BOSSY for Rs413/- , later during Diwali sale I notices that price was reduced to 385/-, which in my opinion, should be the correct price for Loaded Bolds .Overall I am glad that I have one Loaded Bold but I will definitely not buy another in this group. It is better to buy some other brand Made in India.
