Have had this hat for about a week. My 1 year old hates it. Why 5 stars? Because I love it and this is my rating, not my baby's. The strap is long enough to secure the hat on his head. Despite random futile pulls, my son could not get this off of his head! The strap is not velcro which he would easily have pulled off of his head. Love that.The hat's brim is large and covers his head from the sun. It also folds upward when the sun is not directly in his face (we'll see if this folding up feature lasts once the hat gets more wear). There is also a drawstring to change the size of the hat around his head - this also keeps it on his head better.So far, this was what I was looking for.

first I've got to say ... I LOVE the fact that this hat is adjustable. Right above the brim of this hat theres a string that you can adjust to the size of your babies head. Apparently i didn't read the description well enough because this was a surprise to me! An AWESOME surprise!!This hat stays on my babies head better than any hat I've ever purchased (and I've got 5 kids so I've purchased a lot of sun hats). The material is light weight and breathable so it doesn't make his head all sweaty. The brim of the hat is really wide which is so wonderful for sun protection. It not only protects his face but it protects his ears and neck and shoulders. LOVE! Buy it ... you won't regret it.

This hat is perfect for going outdoors. My kid hates wearing anything on his head but he'll tolerate this one for a few hours. It's nice and lightweight and the brim is large so covers the back of his neck well while providing some shade to his face.I also like how cute it is on him, floppy and large.There is also a pull string at the base of the hat above the brim, you can tighten it for a better fit. My 2yr old son has a large head so the size 2-4 fits well for now.. I will definitely buy a bigger size when he needs one.

I bought this hat for my 8 month old son in Size 6-18 Months, and it fits him (and his slightly larger than average head) well, with room to grow. The chin strap is essential to keep it from flying off on windy days. The brim is floppy and provides a lot of shade, but you will likely have to flip it up on a smaller baby so they can see. My son has worn it in his Baby Bjorn and it was great for that, though I did keep having to adjust the brim every so often when it flopped back down. Still, it's one of the better baby hats I've found and the royal blue color is nice. I thought the color might be a little too bright or purple-y tinged, but it's actually very flattering on boys. The fabric is lightweight but seems very protective, especially with the UPF. This is a great hat for a reasonable price. We'll definitely be keeping this in the diaper bag for outings this summer!

I read a lot of reviews before purchasing these and I agree with them! Those hats are great, I bought 1 grey and 1 white for my B/G twins size 0-6 months. They are about 3 months old and 12/10 pounds when I bought them. The hats for well they are not too big and we are using the cord to adjust them to fit. I love that they tie on so they are secure and I don't see any type of choking hazard with these unless you leave a baby un-attended with the hat on, which I never would. The hats do well at blocking the sun and they don't seem to mind them at all. Thy are not to heavy when they get wet and dry very quickly in the sun of you are out at the pool! I will be buying the next size up when needed, but there is plenty of room to grow for now.

I bought this hat for my 6 month old son and it's perfect for what we need! The wide brim looks adorable but keeps the sun out of his face for swimming, hiking, and going for walks. There is also an adjustable string/tie on the back that let's us customize it to his head size, which all other hats I looked at lacked. The string for tying under his chin is another plus as he can't take it off while we're busy! I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone.

Was skeptical because of some reviews but it is perfect! My babe is 4 weeks old and his head is 14cm. We have it tightened all the way and it fits great! With the straps tied on his chin, it withstood the very strong wind. Very breathable so his head didn’t get hot.

Love this hat! Material is breathable for hot days and dries quickly. I have tried a few other hats, but this is the widest brim I have found. Provides full coverage of my 8 month old baby's face, even when directly facing sun. I ordered a size up (9-18 mo) to get longer use from this hat. Although a bit roomy, the adjustable toogle allows me to adjust to his size and works well. I am also very happy with the neutral gray color.

This is a lovely hat with a wide brim. It's a nightmare trying to keep a hat on my son. And his sisters give into him a lot so the ties work when it's just me and him.

Es cómodo, suave y fácil de ajustar. Cubre muy bien del del y, en la parte de adentro (donde va la cabeza, tiene recubrimiento por si se va a meter a la piscina o se va a mojar. Recomendado.

Loved that this hat has an extra wide brim that keeps the sun off the the face and neck.The drawstring ensures the hat fits most head sizes preventing it from blowing off In the wind.It’s quick drying so great for use in the pool although the front does have a tendency to flop over the eyes.
