Gift for mom with hand tremors
I bought these for my mom who has pretty bad hand tremors. She has a hard time writing by hand and signing her name so I thought these might help. Because they're weighted I feel like she has an easier time writing, she said because they are wider than most pens it's easier for her to grip and hold the pen. She also likes how smooth the pen writes. These aren't the end all be all but they are a good addition to help with an important every day task.

Bought this for damage due to Stage 4 Carpel Tunnel syndrome & damage to the nerves in my hands.
I bought this in the hope it would make writing a little easier. I suffered Carpal Tunnel Syndrome when I was in my late 20's & due to 2 back to back pregnancies was not able to have the surgery until my sons were born, unfortunately, by that time I had nerve damage. I thought this sounded like a good idea because I had tried once putting two pen caps on a BIC pen because I couldn't find the 2nd pen and to my surprise, the extra weight made writing easier so when I saw these I thought they would work great. The 1st problem I experienced was they skip and blotch BADLY and if I was not very careful I wound-up with a streak of ink across the page as I was writing. The 2nd issue with these pens is that they are unbalanced. When you put the lid on the back of the pen the pen becomes instantly overweighted in the back and I had to shift how I held the way I pen in order to comfortably keep the pen on the paper.I actually tried a suggestion given by another buyer who shared how they had used lead solder wrapped around the ink cartridge to bring some more weight to the bottom and center of the pen, IT WORKED VERY WELL. Now, I am looking to find out if 'SenseAid' company who sells the pens makes a 'Ball Point' refill for the pen and not a gel ink cartridge. I truly hope 'SenseAid' reads these reviews as they have a potentially good product here, which, with a few adjustments, could really help with a lot of people. If I can just find a 'Ball Point' cartridge for these pens then I will be using them. I'm hoping a standard size refill may work.Thank you for the opportunity to review this interesting product.Margie

pen value good
the pen is very nice. I just started using it today. I have Parkinson's. I cant really rate the pen yet. I am still getting used to it. As far as the value - it is a very nice pen and the price was good
