The grounds basket is stainless and really nicely made and makes good drip coffee. There is a spring that holds the basket at the correct height, the spring can fall out so be aware: this is the weak point on this pot. When the handles are folded out, they stay cool on an induction (which was really nice- no hot mitt required). The glass lid stays put nicely and is heavy duty, the lid is hinged and is a tight fig when you close it- shows quality. I got the set that includes 2 cups with folding handles, these are small 6 oz (guessing) really nice quality, a little small for coffee but perfect for using on the grill to heat butter and sauces. This pot is beautiful and makes good coffee. Review: A most excellent Percolator - This Percolator is compact enough to take camping but still large enough to make plenty of perfectly brewed coffee every single time. Plus, having two matching stainless steel cups is definitely a plus. Overall, this is the best priced and easiest to use Percolator on the market. Highly recommend!

I love my new percolator
