Excellent book

Lots of very helpful info. Helps you to understand the historical context, which is vital to study the bible properly. So many misunderstandings have occurred because the culture was not considered or recognised. Expands my view a lot. But the only problem is, you get drawn to the footnotes rather than texts! On some pages, there are so many foot notes there is literally only an inch and a half of bible text! And it is very ‘busy,’ so much is on every page. A bit off-putting to say the least. However, it is very tightly packed, so hardly surprising. A very useful bible tool. Regardless of moaning about how ‘busy’ it is, it is Recommended.

Although you need holy spirit Because its not completely accurate If you really want to know little bit about history (background) It will help you a lot. Especially old testament Picture are of high quality It helps a lot for pastor's/ Bible study It's very easy to understand and you'll enjoy a lot Go just buy it

This is one amazing Study Bible. Provides an exhaustive and informative resource for the serious student of the Bible. The binding is great Format and presentation is excellent Font size is good Full colour pages Amazon is offering it at a very reasonable price.

I am very impressed with the book..its content and layout. Just started with Timothy and really loved the study contents. God bless the author and all readers. And I recommend it as a must read.

This good for people who just want to see the pictures and understand some cultural backgrounds but what they did is it has notes which I found misleading, they interpreted their own ideas as the meaning for verses. It's just better to get a normal bible- ESV \ KJV \ NIV \ NKJV - All others aren't that great. Just read it , you can understand it's common man's language, you don't require a priest or pastor to learn this amazing bible which holds the Real truth!

This is a serious study Bible. It has extensive notes and pictures. It may be a little large to bring back and forth to church but makes an excellent reference for home study. It has tables, charts, background information, historical translation information, maps, and a concordance. It doesn't have any bookmarks attached, but you can easily use your own bookmark. I am not sure if the hard cover option that I bought would hold up to rough handling. A leather cover would likely last longer. The pages have an almost yellowed look and includes many beautiful, full color illustrations. Jesus' words are in red. This study Bible seems like an excellent choice for those who want to understand the Bible deeply.

Very useful for cultural background with your bible study to understand the thinking and perceptions of the people at the time of the writings to put thinks in perspective for deeper understanding and study.

Really interesting study Bible. I should have bought this Bible a long time ago to inform me of the cultural background of the Old Testament.

This is a well thought out bible. The notes are not too small, and lots of context while respecting the other cultures of ancient mesopotamia. The pictures are great too. Jesus words in red. Only thing missing is no ribbons for bookmarks.
