Water stays fresh and she loves the fountain. Drinking more which is the biggest advantage of this product.

The media could not be loaded. I got this through Amazon Vine as a 2nd water fountain for our 2 cats. I placed it upstairs since one of our cats stays up there most of the day while I'm working.It was pretty simple to assemble. The instructions were clear on that. When I first got it assembled and filled up, our more adventurous cat, Toby, had a hard time with it. I'm pretty sure it was due to the curved faucet. As you can see in the video, he didn't really know what to make of the faucet. He actually got it head under it a few times while trying to drink. I tried moving it off to the side, but he still wouldn't use it. I eventually removed the faucet completely, and that seemed to work well for him. Now he uses it all the time.One thing I noticed is with the USB power adapter that came with it, the water flow fluctuated a lot. So, I swapped it out with another one I had (probably from an old phone), making sure the wattage was the same, and it made the flow much more consistent.The filters are very easy to change, and I haven't had any trouble with that. Overall it's a great addition to all of the cat accessories that are slowly filling up our house :)

Great product! Stylish and easy to use. I really like the color, looks, and feel of this stainless steel water fountain. Although the cord is exposed, I didn't have a concern on my pets messing with it as long as I keep the cord beyond reach behind the water fountain and against the wall. I like the design a lot and so does my friends who saw this.

I really like that it is Stainless Steel and not plastic like all the other fountains that I have had.It has an attractive look and most cats love drinking under a running water faucet.My one cat is still warming up to this, but then my cats are afraid of their own shadow.It uses two different filters that keep the water clean.I checked and the filters are available online.

Update: When the water level in the reservoir begins to run low, the fountain starts making more of a running water sound, even when the spout is positioned in the center. If the water level continues to get lower, then the pump motor will start to make a slight humming noise and the fountain stream will pulsate a bit. If you pay attention to these sounds, you can refill the reservoir before it gets too low. Otherwise, be sure to clean and refill the reservoir on a daily basis.Original review: My Henry has end-stage kidney disease. The veterinarian gave him 3 months to live, but that was more than a year ago. I attribute Henry's longevity to his drinking lots of water, which I try to encourage as much as possible. He likes drinking from tall glasses of water, and also jumping up on the bathroom sink so I can turn on the faucet for him to drink the running water.As soon as I turned on his new fountain, Henry immediately took to it and drank for several minutes. He keeps coming back for more and is choosing the fountain instead of his tall glass. I think it's going to be very helpful in encouraging him to drink more water!The fountain was easy to assemble — make sure to soak the filters for several minutes as described in the instructions. When the spout is centered over dome in the middle of the drinking tray, the flow of water is absolutely silent. However if moved slightly to the side, it can produce a subtle running water sound which could be desirable at times.One disadvantage is that you can't monitor the water level in the reservoir without stopping the fountain and lifting up the drinking tray. However, and despite the fountain's integrated filter, it would be good practice to change the water on a daily basis to maintain the highest quality for your pet. I would also not trust this; or most any similar device; as a sole source of drinking water for any length of time. Should the power fail or some other fault occur, your pet would lose access to water, no matter how much is in the reservoir.I'm very happy to have this lovely fountain for my Henry — he really likes it, so I do too!

This shipped quickly. I do have two other cat water fountains so this is a good addition. I would have given it a 5 star but immediately I noticed there were not any extra charcoal filters given, only the one it came with.Also, the top part doesn't fit well on the whole unit due to the cord being in the way, that was pretty irritating. One more thing is I noticed there isn't a MAX LEVEL line for the water like all of my other ones and no light or anything to show a low water level. These things are important, as well it doesn't auto shut off so if the water level was too low I would assume it would burn up the pump. I don't have a lot of time to check it everyway for that. Otherwise, I love the curved faucet look which is a plus to me personally. It is very quiet and I'm yet to see how my cats take to it. I just set it up - fairly easy but the filters are huge....so basically if the negatives I mentioned were addressed it would be perfect!
