Bulletproof Braces Mouth Guard: Most Breathable Thin Mouthguard for Braces!

I’m extremely happy with this mouthguard. The fit is perfect, and it feels incredibly light and thin compared to other mouthguards I’ve tried. I can breathe and talk easily with it in, and most importantly, I don’t get any gag reflex at all.I also had a great experience with Bulletproof’s customer service. They helped me with a replacement, and the new one fits perfectly. They even included a handwritten “Thanks Rudy” on the letter, which was a really nice touch.I use it for BJJ and barely notice I’m wearing it. Definitely 5 stars!

I purchased this mouth guard for my son, who is autistic and practices BJJ/Muay Thai. Unfortunately, due to his sensory issues, we struggled to get it to fit properly. Despite multiple, maybe too many, attempts, it was too rough for him to continue trying.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️However, I still give it 5 stars for its quality. The product itself was user-friendly and far superior to traditional mouth guards in every possible way. If I had approached the fitting as i did with my best failure, playing dentist and side by side, I might have been successful. The mouth guard is durable and almost stayed in place during my failed attempts.I am confident that if I had succeeded with my son, this would have been the perfect mouth guard for him.If you are in search of a mouth guard that is sturdy, stays in place, allows for easy breathing and talking during intense activities, and your child does NOT have sensory issues to do with his mouth and dentist type stuff, this is the ideal choice.I washed it well and gave minimal, read that as extremely poor, guidance to my 12-year-old son, and surprisingly, he got it right on the first try. It would have required minor adjustments, but overall, it was a straightforward process. He is only 2 years older than my other son, so it was not a maturity thing, however, my 12 year-old would need the adult size, plus he does not do the same activity.While I am unsure about a solution for my autistic son, currently we are stuck with Hope no teeth are knocked out, for a child without sensory issues, the process is simple, and the results far surpass traditional mouth guards.I emailed the company and they quickly replied and they are taking care of me.

Fit is a little hard to do perfectly but once you set it, they are awesome! Super light and easy to talk with it in! Best part is that you can reform them as their teeth are moving with braces!

Wonderful Customer Service!!! I bought my son this mouth guard for football. He likes it and it fits well. He can talk to his team, as the quarterback, without having to take it out of his mouth. He has been getting his braces adjusted a lot and so had to re-fit the mouth guard a few times. It comes with two protectors for the braces for during fitting, so I needed to get more. I reached out by email to the company to inquire about buying more. They immediately responded that we didn’t need to buy more, but that they would just send us some extras and that if he’s re-fitting it that often, then they would throw in another mouth guard at no cost. I was floored by the level of customer service and am really impressed with the product and people behind it. They seem to really care and are passionate about their product and service. Thank you!

These are far thinner than most peoples mouth guards in the gym yet still rock solid when taking punches. They also look pretty cool too being obviously not a traditional mouth guard. The difference shows when it’s time to sit and listen or take a water break. The guard sits comfortably in your mouth without needing to adjust or remove it. You can also drink, not totally comfortably, but well enough with it still in place.The only difficulty is molding it properly. It may take a few tries after wearing it and deciding you want it to fit a bit different but the instruction video is nice. The brand looks fairly supportive in making sure you have a good experience with the products as well.I’ll continue to use them. My jaw gave in before the guard did lol

Review update:One star to four star - This seller reached out to me and offered a full refund. Though I certainly appreciate the reimbursement, the fast response of their customer service and their willingness make things right for their customers speaks volumes. This product was not right for my son but may be great for you.For youth size, it is super difficult to get this guard to form. After molding it and re-molding it, multiple times, they bumps would not smooth out. We tried to heat the specific areas and form like their instruction suggests but that just made smaller bumps and creases with sharp points. After reworking this guard about a dozen times, we finally got it to fit halfway decent but it looks like it has been used and chewed up to the point that I would be getting rid of it if it were an old guard.Cool idea but the execution is more difficult than it should be.

Great idea and concept but Very hard to get a child to mold in the mouth alone!! It comes flat and you have to heat it up and have the child bit in marked areas … had to help shape it and use some wire cutters and plyers to cut some parts off and bend it after hardening. Even tho it softens up when put in hot water again this took way too much work and energy to get it right and I’m still not sure its actually comfortable for my son

This is the best mouthguard on the market! Fits like a professional custom guard!I got this for basketball because I have a cracked tooth that I don't need getting any worse, and recently took a shoulder to the jaw on the court, which made me realize I should probably look into a mouthguard. I wanted something that didn't look like I was obviously wearing a mouthguard (i.e., giant lip) and also wanted something that would stay in my mouth while I breathe and talk, etc. This was the answer I was looking for!It was incredibly easy to mold and fits SO WELL. I've tried lots of different guards, and this one fits amazingly.The instructional video was very clear and gave step-by-step instructions on what to do (it's a little different than some other boil-and-bite mouthguards. And once it is molded, you can go back and fix individual sections of the guard, too, to fine-tune it.When you are wearing it, it doesn't look like you've got a giant mouthguard in - you can still talk, drink, breathe, etc. in it - no problem. It is thin enough that it doesn't look like you have a giant lip, but it is tough enough to protect your teeth and jaw from impact. I would HIGHLY recommend, especially at this price point.
