I appreciate the dual functionality of having the Laser and the poker stick. It’s held up great over having it for six months and I’d recommend it.

The thermometer seems great it's got laser and a probe as far as product goes could not be happier then there is the downside from ordering from Amazon they will lie and trick you into paying the $25 qualifying fee to get something say the next day or same day to find out after you pay and they already received the money that they do not honor it and you still get your product at the same time you would have got it anyways and not having to pay the extra $25 qualifying fee I mean something that was like say $10 that you happen to want that day and they tell you you can for $25 qualifying fee get paid for it take all eligible products off of their list they take your money and they say never mind we're going to give it to you the same day you would have got it regardless but thank you for the extra money that we trick you into giving us and as for that Walmart you get my business Amazon boo thumbs down

I got this for for my boyfriend for Christmas and I'd love to give it move stars, however, some of the features have never worked. He has never been able to switch from F° to C° back, but most importantly he has never been able to get their to read read surface temps and that bums him out. So...boooo...👎

It’s really easy to use, switching between Fahrenheit and CelsiusIt’s great to have 2 measure types in one device.May get stains on it, if you plan to use it in barbecues I recommend buying black color if available

If you actually need to measure the temperature of food, save your money and run in the opposite direction.I bought the Erickhill specifically for the dual laser/probe functionality, thinking it would be a versatile tool for my kitchen. I was wrong. The probe—the entire reason I chose this over a standard infrared gun—died after about six uses. It didn't just become inaccurate; it completely flatlined.A product failing after less than a few months of very light use is bad enough, but Erickhill’s "Customer Service" is where the real scam begins. They boast about a "36-month after-sale service" and "lifetime technical support" in their marketing fluff, but it’s all a lie. I have sent multiple emails and tried contacting them through every available channel to claim the warranty they so proudly advertise.Silence. Not a single reply. Not even an automated "we received your message." They are happy to take your money, but the moment their sub-par hardware inevitably breaks, they vanish into thin air.The Bottom Line:Quality: Non-existent. It’s built like a cheap toy that belongs in a dollar bin.Reliability: It will fail you right when you need it (usually in the middle of dinner).Support: A total black hole. You have a better chance of getting a response from a brick wall.Do not be fooled by the "professional" look or the low price point. You get exactly what you pay for: a piece of plastic destined for the landfill. Avoid this brand at all costs.Rating: 0/5 (if I could)

I bought this to use with my kamado grill so I can quickly check temperatures on surfaces and good. The addition of the probe on the device is helpful. I concurred it “accurate enough.” Food temperature isn’t an exact science given the inaccuracies of how you place the probe in food (too close to cooking surface, next to a bone, etc.) but having a reliable tool like this is always functional. Display is clear and size makes it easy to handle. Time will tell on its durability but like any electronic item, handling with care helps. So far, so good!
