I use for golf and it certainly helps to keep you cool. Not sure whether it's as cold as I would like it to be when the temperatures reach 40 degrees here in Spain.

A godsend in Florida, people were asking to buy off me.

I was very sceptical when I unpacked this. Thought I had beed ripped off because the material is like a sponge for washing dishes, however, Iam really impressed. I am sleeping with the towel at night during the current heatwave. It keeps me cool without feeling wet. Only giving 4 stars because it dries into stiff cardboard, so no idea how I will repack it away after.

Its effective, I just have to find a way to incorporate its use with smart clothing.

Bought 3 of these as recommended for our Disney trip. Very disappointed though as didn’t stay cold and smelt mouldy despite washing with detergent regular.

My husband is a golfer and plays year-round here in Florida. Since it gets quite hot here in the summer, he has tried several products to help him stay cool. I first purchased a couple of different bandanna-type neck ties, with less than desirable results. The golf course pro-shop sells the Frogg Toggs cooling towel, but my husband didn't buy it because he thought it was too expensive. But when I saw that it was half-price through Amazon, I snapped it up. He has only used it once, but it seemed to work well, and the cooling properties last much longer than the bandanas. I was horrified when I washed it before use and it dried into a stiff, unusable product. But when I read the instructions, it said to keep it moist, so I re-wet it and folded it back into it's original container. I stored it in the refrigerator until needed, and he said it was cool and moist when he used it on the course. Good product.

I love this product although it arrived in PINK not purple. Ironically I wanted pink to match my wrist bands anyway so maybe the Amazon packer read my mind! The product itself is excellent. We get a lot of heat waves in the summer so this works great just to drape around your back and shoulders or chest and shoulders to help cool down. You can also wrap it around you legs, arms etc - anywhere that is feeling particularly hot. This might be beneficial for someone with a heat rash or hives as it soft, cool, wet and feels great on your skin. It comes in a plastic reusable sealed tube - you store it wet so it is ready to use whenever you need it as well as it travels well in a beach bag, backpack etc. After buying this through Amazon, I have since found this same brand/product in outdoor sports stores but was happy to see I saved a couple bucks buying it through Amazon! This would also make a great gift idea for someone athletic or who spends a lot of time in hot climates, work environments etc. It stays cool for hours - as it dries out, I either spritz mine with a water bottle to keep it moist or submerge for a minute in a sink/bowl of water. Washes nicely by hand with mild soap and water.

I purchased this towel (as well as the hat and the apron like thing that goes around the hat) for my 9 yr old daughter. She has Autism and Bipolar disorder and the high temperatures combined with high humidity in far South Texas causes MAJOR meltdowns. Her new SpED teacher is so amazing with her and the first two weeks of school he had her outside playing some basketball and soccer and just being active. But it never failed that once it was time to go back inside she couldn't get cooled off fast enough and a meltdown would always follow. Well this towel alone stopped the meltdowns!!!! Well at least the ones from being too hot. Now she can play outside just like her friends and not be too hot. I'm buying another one for myself too!! I purchased another brand too at the same time that boasted how it never dries hard like these do, oh well I'd rather have to put it in the container a little damp than use the other towel which is nowhere near as cold as this one.

It works well , I bought it for my husband and he is happy with it

I wear this hung around my neck to keep cool in 100°+F . This is a life saver for me! The one and only way I can leave the house during the summer months!
