24E1N1100A 23.8 inch FHD Monitor 120Hz, IPS Panel, 1ms MPRT, Speakers (1920x1080 HDMI 1x 1.4) Black

If you want something to increase your screen real estate that represents good value for money, then this is a great choice. The screen is clear, bright and doesn't give you eye strain after you have been staring at it all day. The colours in the screen are fine, but at this price, you don't expect a colour accurate monitor. It looks smart enough on the desk, I can't comment on the stability as it's mounted to a monitor arm so it's not sat on the desk using the stand. The stand looks fine, but it just isn't used. The sound quality is passable but, if you're using it for gaming then you will probably want to pair it with some better, bigger speakers.

Age is not a friend to eyesight and I was starting to struggle with a particular website editing programme where it was becoming increasingly difficult to read text as the template size could not be increased and increasing text size would throw the layouts out. I use a 14in laptop which has been fine until the last few months so a monitor seemed the simplest solution. This one works with no problem, simple plug and play and you really don’t notice the curve. You sit close to a monitor so as you turn your head the curve keeps your eyes at a fairly constant distance. Text, graphics and video all display well and photo editing is a breeze. Some reviews are less than complimentary about the sound and, let us be honest, it is not hi-fi, but the sound is better than most laptops and equal to most and even better than some 27in TVs. If you really want higher quality sound there is a headphone socket which can be used for auxiliary speakers. For general use, and as I run a theatre review website, Amazon Prime Music gets a fair amount of use, the sound is fine. There was no sign of dead pixels and with no adjustment the picture was fine out of the box – incidentally, the monitor was well packaged and had a simple strap system to easily pull the monitor in its packing out of the box. There are plenty of controls on the on-screen menu to adjust all the usual suspects if you want to play. I was happy with what came out of the box. The monitor is lightweight but seems well built and is stable on the stand. There is a tilt adjustment but no height adjustment, which seems to be fairly common at the cheaper end of monitors. It is not a problem for where I placed it, but it is something to bear in mind if location could be difficult. I don’t do gaming on my laptop so I can’t comment on the monitor for heavy duty games, but I have tried an Amazon Fire Stick and the picture quality is excellent, with perfectly acceptable sound, and it will work with Switch when my grandsons come round. All in all it is an excellent monitor at a decent price from a reliable, established and well known manufacturer.

I recently bought a mini PC to use via wi-fi to watch films in bed. I had an old dinosaur, Windows XP, but felt that an upgrade wouldn't hurt. The PC was cheap and so I complimented it with this new monitor. As others have said, the sound quality is poor, but there is a jack for speakers if you want them. I wasn't fussed by this as the new PC accepts Bluetooth, for headphones, to avoid waking the children next door. Nevertheless, the sound alone warrants a lost star. I scrapped the VGA in favour of HDMI, which comes enclosed. This is so much easier to connect and better... apparently. You have the choice of both but VGA is not included in the pack. Picture looks lovely, it is a nice 24" (compared to the previous 19") and it is so light (again compared to old). This model doesn't come with a remote control though, as indicated in the literature. Easy to fix together with the stand, but not adjustable, or not that I can tell so far. It's a fixed position. It does what I wanted it for and is most certainly an upgrade. Yes, happy with purchase and if, like me, the sound is not an issue, then you can't go far wrong with this monitor.

I thought this monitor was great value for money and was easy to set up straight out of the box. The picture quality is what you would expect, as is brightness control and sound, although we tend to leave headphones plugged in all the time, so we don't really use the onboard sound. The curved screen took a few mo's to get used to, but I love that now. A lovely monitor and one I would happily recommend.

I've purchased 7 of these in total for the office and some have now been running for well over 12 months without any issues. reasonable bright image, fairly fast response times , Ideal for office work

Very impressed with this monitor. The price especially.

Great. Bought for gaming. I'm delighted with it. Really glad it has speakers integrated as well. Impressive for the price. Picture quality is spot on. Controls can be a tad fiddly (just one adjustable button at the back) but overall not enough to deduct a star.

It's ok for the price not the best not the worse .. I find the controls a bit finiky and I'm sure they could be made more straight forward.. the screen is decent it's a bit overly bright though
