Best Value Per Dollar Spent
At the time of Purchase (Early July 2018) and the The time of this review (Mid September 2018) this GPU does in fact have the best Price to Performance Ratio, in the current market. * Yes you can pre-purchase unreleased cards, but those are neither available nor optimized at the time of this review. & When that happens this review will be history and no-longer relevant. The "Logic" that drove this purchase is if a GPU costs 300% more it needs to be at least 300% better than the market baseline. And this card delivers. Can this card Do 1080p, 60FPS, & High (or Higher) Textures?...YESCan this card Do 4K @ 30FPS?...YESCan this Card Do VR?...YESThe Software GUI "Adrenaline" is easy to use, non-intrusive, and updating is optional.Running a variety of games is very intuitive. Naturally supported games perform better, but overall performance in the 6 PC games I actually play (I ignore shovel-ware), the performance is impressive...If the option to use Vulcan is available for your game...you need to try it on an AMD card.

great value
Bought this because passmark recommended it for value and quality. I also purchased the passmark recommendation on the amd side. This card is better, its far more compatible with current games. I'm doing around 55fps in world of tanks if that's any help (running at full quality). Have not had the computer crash at all due to over heating like my last video card which was not overclocked at all. I am not overclocking this card.

I good interim solution for a small form factor Hackintosh running Mojave
It's important to note that this GPU uses a 6-PIN (75w) power connector, not the full 8-PIN (150w) that all other RX 580's use. The RX 580 is rated at 185w. This OEM 6-PIN card version can theoretically be rated no higher than 150w of power (75w from the PCIe Slot and 75w from the 6-PIN). While running Unique Heaven Benchmark on max settings on my old Apple Cinema Display (1680x1050) my system peaked at 202w which supports my suspension that card peaks some where just under 145w. I would also like to note that this card peaked between 75-80°C during the tests and wasn't as loud as I was expecting (some of you will like that). If you have this running in a tight space you may want to adjust the fans to a higher speed when it gets to those temps? If you need a small Mini-ITX AMD GPU this card is one of the more solid options at this present time. Other options are the mini RX 560 and the Vega 56 nano (if you can find one new, and have deep pockets). If you aren't boxed into using AMD cards like myself, Nvidia has several better options to invest in.Overall my opinion is that this unit is a mixed bag. It's a compromise of an RX 580, when you are already compromising with the RX 580 in the first place? However you should be able to run this on a reputable 200-250 rated power supply. Something like the tiny J-Hack Meanwell RPS 200W Kit will be able to handle this if you get creative with your build.Hope this is helpful. Happy Building.SYSTEM: i7-8700, ASUS ROG 390-I, EVO 970 500GB X2, 32GB RAM, oem RX 580 4G, PCU: HDPlex 400w, Mojave/Windows 10

good gpu for the price
it works fine. I've experienced no lag while using my daw to make music & playing games like the witcher. i had to use an older update so it won't intervene with my audio devices.

RX 580 and Quiet!
Tried the MSI RX 580 8G V1 for my Mac, though the fan had a constant low level buzzing that was noticeable and the fan seemed to run constantly. Comparing that card to this and other ones, the fan in the MSI card seems bit undersized, which might explain why it was constantly running. This OEM card has a larger fan as many others do. Granted, this OEM card has only 4GB of RAM vs. the 8GB of the MSI card, but that's basically the amount of RAM that's in the various RX 570 and RX 560 cards which are designed with the smaller single format design as I wanted a card I could use in either my Mac or Mini-ITX tower. I figured, why not get the faster GPU core even with the similar amount of RAM? Ran a number of benchmarks to compare against the Radeon Pro 580 X in the new i9 iMacs. I was surprised to find the card within spitting distance of the 8GB variant and some tests where it exceeded the iMac's GPU, likely due to it throttling due to the enclosure of the iMac. Needless to say, it boots up on my Mac (with Mojave) and my Windows rig! Did I mention it's quiet?

Great Video Card for Tight Spaces
Great Video Card for my Dell 7020 MT, don't try to use this card on a Dell Small Form Factor such as a 3020 sff, 7020 sff, only use it on Dell Mini Tower systems. Such as 3020 MT 7020 MT 9020MT

RX 480 NOT RX 580
It's used graphics card and it came without box. Obviously It's used and I can see the pending on the pcie slot and in top of that when I connected to my pc it shows that It's the RX 480 !!!! NOT the RX 580. I updated the AMD driver then it shows the RX 580.
