Audio-Technica AT-LP70XBT Fully Automatic Wireless Belt-Drive Turntable (Black/Silver)

I had to replace my old turntable as it finally gave out after many years of excellent service. This turntable looks good and is fully automatic. You do not need to set anything up apart from putting the belt on the capstan. It's described as an entry level machine which it may well be, if you don't want to spend crazy amounts on something that isn't 'entry level '. I've been listening to it all day and it sounds great and works well. I decided on audio technica because I've been using their cartridges and stylus for years without disappointment. I think it's a great turntable for the money and frankly sounds just as good as my previous incumbent, if not even slightly better! As an addendum to my previous notes I have now had this turntable for roughly 6 months and it has been in fairly continuous use and I am absolutely knocked out by the sound it produces. I have an average set up with a nice Rotel amp going through some grand old mission speakers. I have listened to far more expensive set ups than mine and frankly I haven't heard anything that beats the audio fidelity that this so called entry level turntable produces. My ears are extremely pleased indeed!

Simple to set up, even simpler to operate. Bluetooth works well and the sound quality is spot on.

Great sounds, very well built, easy set to set up and I love that you can play your vinyl automatically and manually. On top of that the player looks stunning. I am very happy with this player and can highly recommend it.

Beautiful record player, got it in the white colour, don’t use the bluetooth connectivity due to bookshelf speakers but sound quality is amazing. Needle is good quality too, doesn’t damage the vinyl record. Can’t wait to expand my vinyl collection and listen to all my records on this player.

Excellent entry record player easily set up full automatic no mucking around with counter weight or tracking here. I upgrade the sylus to an elliptical black stylus easy swapped over love it.

Had this for 2 1/2 months now and can't believe how good it is. For the price you really cannot fault it. Just started collecting vinyl again and all my albums sound brilliant. Easy to set up and works perfectly each time. Press play and hits the beginning of the record every time. No skipping at all. Have chose to not use Bluetooth and wired it into my Marshall Stanmore 2 and amazing sound. The fact that you can upgrade the needle is a big plus which i will do when this one is on way out and go for next one up. Need a better speaker in long run but at moment i really love this. Doubt i will need to change the turntable. for budget audiophiles go for it if you want an automatic which i did.

This is one great record player for new to vinyl / occasional listeners. I previously had a random player which broke after a year, my advice if you are planning to get into vinyl, save a bit a buy this one, because if you buy something on the ~£100 with build in speakers and such, you will regret it, as I did. This is the LP70 model released just a few weeks ago, basically a small step up from the current LP60. It arrived quickly and very well packed. Looks and size: This is one great looking player, classic design which blends nicely in most interiors I would say. There are a few colour options, like white or black with bronze, I bought the black and silver and it looks amazing. Size is also just great, with clear cover that covers the entire record, perfect for keeping dust and pet hair away. Functionality: You can play a record either automatically or manual. The auto mode is great if you want to start from the start, and it just stops by itself at the end. Prefect if you are also new to vinyl and afraid of scratching or wondering where to lower the tonearm. On manual, you can lift the tone arm with a lever, chose position and then lower. Again, great to protect both vinyls and stylus. This model also has bluetooth, which is handy if you prefer to move the speaker around the house. I just paired the player with the speaker once, and have been pairing ever since very fast; no issues. Ideally you would want a stereo wired system, but I prefer to have my small Marshall connected, which I can take out to the balcony. There is also selection for record size and speed. Sound: I am not an audiophile with extremely sensitive ears, so bear with me, but this is definitely a step up compared to my previous player. I listen to a lot of classical music and operas, the clarity of this stylus is amazing and noticeable; such a major step up. Pros: If you want to up your stylus game, this model also comes with the ability of upgrading the stylus. Very minor Cons: The player does not come with an on/off switch. It just stays on a stand-by mode, so if you won’t be using it for a while, best to turn the plug off. Overall: If you are in the lookout for a new vinyl record, this is a great first buy option!

Got as a gift for a friend it's a good reccord player but it is pretty big

When it is not skipping, it is great. But I am finding that regardless of new or used vinyls, it skips every other song which is very frustrating.
