Great quality lap desk, comfortable on your lap with the cushions on the bottom, great value for money and easy to use straight out of the box. The weight is light and small for storage. I use this to draw and paint in my sketchbook while sat on the sofa. Laptops fit well on it, also.

Very light so wondered about quality but it’s no frills and just what is needed really. Prefer it to something heavier. Would recommend.

This lap desk is perfectly lightweight, sturdy and compact and fits my MacBook Pro perfectly. It is comfortable to use, however, it does lack a front lip to prevent sliding. I fixed this by adding adhesive door dampers which work very well and as they were only a couple of quid it didn’t break the bank. it’s just something to keep in mind!

I recently did a lot of prolonged typing on a chromebook whilst I was sat on a settee. My neck was permantly down and ached a lot, my back also ached. Probably not helped by the stressful nature of what I was dealing with. I came across a possible solution of better posture when using a laptop whilst sat on a settee. This LapGear Compact Lap Desk was recommended along with advice on what features to look out for in general. A 4 star reviewer pointed out that it lacks some sort of barrier to stop a laptop from slipping down and forward off the Lap Desk. The reviewer shared that they used a row of adhesive pads to stop that from happening. I ordered a Lap Desk along along with a pack of 20 square adhesive pads to have a go myself. (See photo) I used 6 square pads along the bottom 4cm apart and 2 on each side to also stop a laptop from slipping off over the sides. The way I've arrange the pads works for 14" chromebooks (and smaller) that have a bevelled edge underneath. I am waiting the recommended 24 hours for the square blocks to fully adhere before testing it out. It was a success so I ordered another Lap Desk and used up the10 remaining adhesive blocks. One of the photos shows the piece of cardboard that I used to measure where the square adhesive blocks go. They were £4.19 from The Sticky Stuff Company, 20 Clear Square Bumpers, on Amazon.co.uk.

Size is up to 14" only . Cushion is very soft and make it wobbly when you have it on your legs

I wanted a lap desk that I could sit in my armchair with and do my drawings. I already had a lap tray, but it was too big for my lap and kept sliding off. This one is perfect, it's smaller size allows me to draw comfortably and has the added advantage of a slot for my pencil and tortillon. It fits comfortably on my lap and the bead base moulds to my legs and stops it moving around. I also use it as a tray if having a snack.

Garbage. The padding is fine, but the plastic is thin and bendy—so if you're using it for video editing or gaming, don't bother as the bottom of the laptop will touch the plastic, block the airflow, and then the whole point of preventing heat buildup goes out the window. Plus the plastic got all discoloured from the heat, so also avoid if you don't plan on inhaling invisible plastic fumes. It's cheap and from Amazon, so no surprises to be honest. You get what you pay for. I couldn't share a photo as it's in the bin already! Sorry planet.

Sure, like some reviews say, the Laptop Desk has a thin plastic desk and not a lot of padding underneath; but I am ecstatic with it! It has 'just enough', and no more 'than what is essentially required' for doing it's designated chore and comfortably. I was also concerned that the laptop would slide on the desk, but hasn't done so as of yet.

Para lo que vale no está mal. Las almohadillas de la base no son demasiado cómodas. La plataforma donde apoyar el ordenador resbala bastante y el ordenador se mueve mucho. Pero calidad-precio es muy correcta. Trae un asa que a mí me está siendo muy práctica para guardarla.

I bought these for my kids in grade school. They are exactly what I wanted, but I'm not sure they are for everyone. They are pretty small. I like that they are lightweight. They have a soft padding underneath that seems like it's filled with bean bags filling. It also has a nice little handle to carry it. I like the slot to put a pencil or pen, but sometimes the kids try to write over it. I have to remind them not to do that. We don't use them for laptops. We just use them for doing homework or just a hard surface to write on. So, I'm not sure how they do with heat. But these are perfect for our purposes. I even bought one to put in my car, for when I need to write something. I would recommend if you're looking for something small, lightweight and simple. They are great for kids

I drive a wheelchair bus and bought this for one of my kids who just got a cell phone. He has limited motion in his arms and was struggling with the phone on his lap. This lap table works perfectly, fits his lap between the chair arms and with the padding is comfortable for him. He uses it everyday and the price and quality are excellent. I highly recommend this simple but well designed product.
