I have not turned back, once I purchased my first reel, this filament just works all the time without fail, I don’t even dry it, print quality is always top notch, my printer has done a shade over 320 hours total print time with 300 on this filament it has never ever had a single nozzle blockage, and I have not had a bad reel, its always packed well and one of the lowest cost wise, I highly rate it.

Creality PETG is my default choice, as I run a small print farm, and it produces very consistent results across several printers, at 245°C. It’s worth the money. For the lack of hassle. It’s bright red, as opposed to some washed out salmon coloured ones I’ve regrettably purchased.

Printed several parts with this PETG and it’s been very reliable. Filament came neatly wound with no tangles, and I had no feeding issues during longer prints. It prints smoothly with good layer adhesion and a clean surface finish. Minimal stringing once settings were dialed in, and the parts feel strong and slightly flexible as expected from PETG. For the price, this is solid filament and I’d buy it again.

If you’ve ever wrestled with stubborn PETG that strings like crazy or clogs like it’s auditioning to be a plumber, this is the filament you’ve been waiting for. Creality’s PETG in blue is a game changer. First off, the spool is neatly wound, which seems like a small thing until you’ve spent 20 minutes untangling a bird’s nest of filament at 2 a.m. (Don’t ask how I know.) It’s a joy to work with right out of the box, and the dimensional accuracy is on point at ±0.03mm. That’s not marketing fluff—it’s actually consistent. This filament plays nice with printers like my Ender 3 Pro and ELEGOO Neptune, sticking perfectly to the bed without needing to drown it in adhesive sprays. I printed a phone holder and a mini-diorama, and the layer adhesion is chef’s kiss. Plus, PETG’s trademark toughness shines here. These prints aren’t just pretty; they’re sturdy enough to survive my 6-year-old’s “stress tests” (a.k.a. unprovoked attacks). The blue color is vibrant but not obnoxiously so—it has a sleek, professional vibe, like it knows it’s better than the competition but doesn’t need to rub it in your face. Cons? Honestly, I’ve got none, except now I feel bad for all the other PETG sitting in my filament stash. Guess I’ll be “accidentally” printing blue everything for a while. Final Verdict: If you’re new to PETG or tired of mediocre brands, grab this spool. It’s the filament equivalent of that reliable friend who never flakes and always brings snacks.

PETG is always a bit finnicky for me, but once I got my printer dialed in, this one worked well. I'm using an Ender 3 V2 Neo on Klipper with Cura as my slicer. I tend to save PETG for prints that need to be more rugged, such as when making replacement parts or anything that might be used outdoors. I did end up making a custom profile in my slicer for the Creality PETG after doing some calibration test towers, although the generic PETG also gave good results. PETG is more sensitive to humidity, so you'll want to take measures to keep it dry, especially if you hear it popping and crackling while printing. I use the lower temperature dehydrate function on my air fryer. It also helps to store it in a sealed bag or container with some silica gel packets. I weigh mine before and after drying. Basically once the weight stops going down, it's done. You can find out more about this online. The prints came out looking good, with a minimal amount of stringing which is normal for PETG on my printer. I had some trouble with an intricate deer I was printing, but that had more to do with my printer settings and scale. The Benchy came out great. I was able to see the details in the print, and everything came out well. The finish was glossy. This seems like some good filament.

I have tried *many* PETG filaments. All of them have left me frustrated, disappointed and discouraged. Except this one. With other filaments, I went crazy printing towers, adjusting profiles, and still ended up with a blobby, stringy, crunchy mess. With Creality's CR-PETG, I made a few minor adjustments (*) to a Cura profile offered by CHEP and ended up with a beautiful print. What worked for me on my Ender-3 Max Neo: 230°C printing temperature, start to finish* 85°C build plate temperature, start to finish* 50mm/s print speed 25mm/s walls/support speed 20mm/s initial layer speed 95% flow (100% on initial layer) 150mm/s travel Retraction speed: 55mm/s 0% fan for ten layers and then 50% after that* With CHEP's 70°C build plate temperature, my prints would lift at the corners. At 85°C, I had excellent adherence. The "color" sits mid-way between glossy and matte, leaning slightly more toward glossy. Print strength is excellent. I cannot get my 30mm² x 3mm test piece to so much as crackle when flexing it. I will be buying this filament again.

This filament seems to be very consistent in qualities and properties from batch to batch and printing application. It tends to perform as you would hope, and like all petg filament, needs to be kept dry for maximum performance. If you treat it like PLA, you won't get very good results, and of course it requires both bedding temperature as well as extrusion temp to be quite a bit higher. The advantage of petg is its much more durable and resistant to the elements than PLA. If you are looking for something that actually has the strength/function, its not quite ABS or nylon, but it still tends to function well and this quality filament fills that need.
