I am updating this, after giving a bad review. I was not aware that these bags were made to be BIODEGRADABLE. They are not treated with anything, so they decompose quickly. That is awesome for when you need them short term. I really love that, environmentally friendly! I was looking for bags that I can use for occasional flood control. The old burlap bags that I had prior were obviously not the same as they lasted years and years. I thought these would do the same and I didnt look enough into it, before purchase. My fault!! It IS listed, that they don't last more than a few months. I missed that fact. My fault (again) The owner called me, explained the details and, out of fairness, I am fixing my review. He is, at no cost to me, is sending me different bags that are more suited to my needs. So, my review on the product I purchased, based on the info I now know (and should have known): GOOD!! They did their job, held back the rain, were strong and were easy to deal with. They dried fairly quickly too. They shipped quickly and I got exactly what I ordered. My review on the company itself....awesome. The owner had to call me 2 times and emailed me, to make this right. He didnt give up and not care. I mean really, I am at fault here, not them, and he is still sending me replacements. That's a company you want to use again.

I've been using sandbags in the rear of my home to block an entry way into the back patio. Heavy rains always cause the area to flood. The poly bags I've been using disintegrate yearly and have to be replaced, since they sit in direct sunlight 24/7/365. So I finally purchased the good ol' fashion burlap bags and have had no issues whatsoever. No fear of ripping when I step over them and accidentally drag my sneaker across one (unlike the poly bags). These bags are 5 star and highly recommended. I'll never buy another poly bag again!

I prefer the burlap material for several reasons, namely longer lasting than plastic, naturally biodegradable, and extremely sturdy. They don’t tear or leak soil contents even when roughly handled and dropped. I have used about 150 bags and the high quality is consistent. The last 100 bags I am placing in areas of soil erosion on a bare earth slope. My hope is that over several years they will weaken and spill the soils onto the slope in a slow rebuild of the ground. I am very pleased with this product.

Bought these for our house to prevent flooding. They have worked well so far. Well made and sturdy fabric. Would purchase again.

These are very sturdy a smaller version of a potato sack back in the 60’s. Value for money purchased twice

The sand bag seems fine...But the packaging from the company was the opposite of our intended purpose--to be natural. They put it in huge, thick plastic wrapping:(

I’m using these bags to damn off a door during heavy rains. They have been working as advertised. I was able to fit ~50lbs of sand in each bag. They have draw strings that allow you to tie off the bags once filled. Once there tied off I can toss them around and they don’t open and keep the sand inside without spilling.

I used these with a mix of the standard polypropylene bags--25 of these and 75 of the others. These cost more but I really liked them--they're more flexible than the others so they fit together more closely and provide a more solid barrier (I was using mine as a bullet backstop that has to be good to stop .308 Win rounds). They look far better too than the stark white of the other sandbags. Just a pleasure to use and they stack really well. In hindsight I'd probably pay more and just use these.

Good quality
